I have been to Asian cuisine restaurants all over the world and this was by far one of the best ones I have ever been too. I would recommend if it is your first time and you’d like to try several dishes. Visit during happy hour 4-7 Mon-Sat!

BBQ entree was a leg and thigh of a chicken, majority of the flavor was on the skin but a bit permeated into the top layer of meat. The sauce was sweet. The papaya salad was very good, and served in a acidic dressing that went well with the chicken. The sticky rice was fun to eat.

The service and atmosphere of this authentic Asian restaurant was very nice. I have only been there once and tried the Asian Nine Lo Mein. It was delicious and they were very generous with their portions.

I went to a happy hour at Asian Nine and I was not disappointed. There happy hour menu is awesome about the value was great. We started off with their drinks (Thai Whiskey Sour, Hibiscus Mojito) and the combo sampler. We then got the Asian wings and Chicken Skewers prior to getting Panang curry. They had a very polite staff and made us feel at home. We had a great experience there and would go back.

I ordered takeout from Asia Nine during lunch hour, so yes, it was busy and the food took a while. That’s okay. When I received the food and returned to my office, I tasted it and realized – not okay. I’ve had my share of Asian food over the years, and this is low quality and substandard. The lo mein noodles were excessively chewy, the bell peppers were hard and not cooked. The spring rolls I ordered were VERY mediocre. Ironically, Asia Nine has higher prices than other Asian restaurants that I am familiar with. I attribute this to their Washington DC location where many federal agency employees dine out for lunch, and so they raise their prices in turn to maximize profit due to the steady stream of business. I would pass on this restaurant. I paid $24 for Asian Lo Mein noodles and 3 spring rolls. Not worth it.

The ambiance is fine. It got very crowded right after we got a table. We were able to get in without having made a reservation.

Nice restaurant yo have asian food. Ambience is quite good and the food quality is very good also. Service was good and we have our dinner over there in the weekdays and may be because of this the restaurant was mostly empty. We were greeted upon entering and service was quite fast. Food tasted really nice and price was quite pocket friendly (if you don’t take any alcoholic drink). Food quantity was really good. We ordered sapporo beer and it was mentioned as beer from japan but we noticed that the beer was “made in Vietnam” which sounds funny ( as Sapporo beer is quite famous in Japan and I know it). Otherthan our experience was nice there. Will visit again if possible.
