So I decided to take my wife here for dinner but we were disappointed. The food was bland and tasteless. We had some soup to start the evening but it was cold and the soup noodles that came with it were stale. Our entrees were not very good either. We’ve been coming here for years trying to give this place the benefit of the doubt but it’s been consistently below average every time we visit. So we’re done.

Ordered take out to have a sushi night with my family. We ordered nearly 70.00 worth of Sushi and I placed the order over the phone. I was told I could not pay for it over the phone and I had to pay for it in person. This is problem for me because I was not the one picking up the food. The person who took my order huffed and puffed when I asked why I couldn’t pay for it with a card over the phone, and just gave me an attitude the entire time. The food was good however, I most likely will not return due to customer service.

Best Sushi place near the Jersey Shore Outlets! My daughter and I stopped here for lunch on our way to to the Jersey Shore Outlets. I was in the mood for sushi and she wanted General Tso’s Chicken. The place is very clean and the the service was excellent. For drinks, I ordered hot green tea and water. I had the Red Phoenix Roll – spicy tuna, salmon, white fish, yellowtail, seaweed salad (missing), crabmeat, pepper tuna and masago with special sauce (see photo). My daughter ordered the General Tso’s chicken which came with rice (see photo). We were very pleased with our meal. Everything was fresh and made to order. My daughter stated that every time we go shopping, she now wants to come here first. Thank you!

Most delicious food I’ve had in a while! Reasonably priced! While we had takeout, the restaurant inside was immaculately clean and nicely decorated. I’m willing to travel 30 minutes to pick this up, over the restaurants local to me and will be back to dine in!

Pick from sushi, Malaysian, Thai, and Chinese food. It’s the best in Tinton Falls, Asbury, Neptune, area. If you are within 15 minutes of this place, you won’t find another asian place to beat Asian Star Cafe. BYOB. By far, the best General Tso Chicken I had, and the same goes for Beef Lomain. The Malaysian spicy coconut chicken soup is my favorite dish so far. It’s expansive for the takeout, but wel worth it for the quality. It’s also a great place to dine in.

My wife and I ordered takeout tonight and we’ve been looking a for a new Chinese restaurant for a while. After some search we came upon this gem of a restaurant. We ordered over the phone and was told it would take 10-15 min which i was extremely happy with. When i got there in that time my food was actually ready. I got the Happy Family and my wife got steamed shrimp with mixed vegetables. My food was really good and my wife said her food was good except the sauce was a bit too salty.
