I wanted to write a nice review about Asian Bistro before we moved away. We have eaten here MANY times before and had food delivered to us many times as well. They are all so friendly! Great customer service. Delicious and authentic Asian food! I highly recommend their General Tso’s Chicken. We get it everytime because it’s just SO GOOD. Their sushi is amazing as well! So fresh and delicious.

It was ok. Shrimp and vegetable tempura was greasy and wasnt tempura. The sushi was ok. The Mongolian beef was pretty good. Not sure we’ll return for sushi but maybe for the Chinese food.

To preface this review, I work at a local sushi restaurant. I ordered sushi takeaway and the crab meat was completely rotten. Not even just turning bad, but rancid. Crab meat when fresh (and fried) is entirely white. What I received was crab tempura that was graying, soggy, wet and cold. This is unsafe to eat and overall really disappointing. How anyone thought it would be okay to serve this is really beyond me. The entire crab tempura in the spider roll was brown and gray like in the picture.

I’m baffled by the negative reviews, honestly; I eat here at least once a month and I have had nothing but tasty food and reasonably quick service. (I mostly get sushi but I’ve enjoyed their dinner combos at times.)

I’ve tried this place a few times now. It’s decent but I’ve been underwhelmed by the flavor/spicing each time. I’ve found myself adding sauce and spices at home since I’m someone who likes my food heavily spiced and very flavorful. Might be a good option for those that like less spiced food though.

I got the sesame chicken a week ago and it was subpar. I went back to get the same thing but I wanted to try something else so I went with beef and broccoli to go. The meat was slimy and gross, not cooked thoroughly. It’s a nice establishment but what I got was nothing edible. Will not be coming back.

I order wings here all the time from DoorDash and they used to be really good. They were juicy and had good flavor and I order the same wings every time but lately they have been absolutely inedible. I keep trying because I think it’s only Mondays that they’re bad. But I’ve also called the store and ask to speak to a manager and they continuously tell me there isn’t one on multiple occasions I work at a wing joint and when people ask me where else can I get good wings? I used to suggest there but I’m so disappointed. It’s very frustrating because I don’t know where to get wings anymore. On top of that their menu has been adjusted on DoorDash and other sites where pretty much you can only get wings. I called and asked if they didn’t have them anymore and they said no they do and they would mention it to their boss again and again it has not changed. It has been weeks and I have continuously stupidly ordered wings from there. The same flavor every time and they’ve been burnt to a crisp with no flavor and no sauce at all. I don’t really understand. I don’t order them crispy. I don’t order them dry. I don’t get it and no managers ever gotten back to me. Even left my name and number with somebody. Doordash won’t give me my money back and I have lost so much money on five dozen wings multiple times. Yes that is my stupidity but again like I said I’ve called to ask for someone that can fix this problem for me or make me feel better about ordering wings and suggesting to other people that they do as well.

They remember us and our food orders every time. Fast polite and friendly service. Great sushi for a landlocked state. This review is specifically for the Winooski branch (the better one). We love the shrimp fried rice and the sweetheart roll. Consistent high quality food at a reasonable price.
