I only selected one star because the review won’t allow me to select ZERO! Don’t eat at this disgusting buffet! I complained to the manager about the food being cold and aged and when they bought the new food out from the back they mixed it with the old food! GROSS!

I give it 1 star because it doesn’t give me the option to put 0. First the service was not that good, we had to stop to tell the servers so they could serve us and bring drinks. Second, the staff of the place does not show interest in taking care of the health of the clients when they are changing the food. As you can see in the photo the ripe bananas had a shrimp tail. And that wasn’t the only food that was cross-contaminated. When I notify the staff, they just give me a dirty look and remove the shrimp tail from the tray with the same utensil they used to serve ripe plantains. I told them that this is cross contamination and I pointed out the other tray that had cross contamination and was the same thing. For this reason I say that they are not careful with the health of the clients. and the staff was on thier phone the whole time. This was during lunch time (2:53pm). I am a chef with 11 years of experience and I have a Food Safety Manager license.

The buffet is ok but I’m addicted to Gobi Mongolian Grill and the grill here is not even close to being worthy. If I was to rate just th grill I would give it 3 stars. I went again today 10/7/22. It was good, not very good. I wnt at like 2:30 so some temporary shortages are understandable. Their hibachi grill is not good,, see pics.. the raw ingredients aren’t kept on ice, there’s not enough, (i get the mussels from the buffet 1st.) Need more vegetables, more sauces, on ice, and cleaner, 1/2 of the grill was disgusting and the cook could not care less.

Food is standard fare for Chinese buffet. It’ll be hit or miss for some. The pricing is deceptive, $19 for adults and children (regardless of age). They force gratuity on you without listing it anywhere (I always tip based on service provided regardless, I just don’t like it being forced on me at whatever rate they choose) regardless of your party size. Pacific Buffet & Grill in Wallingford is better.

This place used to be so good. It’s fallen off terribly bad. The lights in the windows just hang the windows are disgusting and not clean. The food was like it was stale but heated up. Everything had that taste as if it wasn’t fresh, as if it came from sitting on the kitchen counter , or more like outside catching air I can’t find a way to describe it. Just know me and my kids used to love this place and KIDS were disappointed. I’m giving two stars because waitress was friendly.

Not the most appealing restaurant to eat at. Customer service is horrible nor the food isn’t clean correctly/properly as well as their cleanliness for a pricey restaurant. They also dare to include their tip in the bill without no one noticing, but if you do notice and bring it to their attention they become very rude and disrespectful, especially in front of everyone which makes you uncomfortable and embarrassed. If the food was clean and prepared correctly with better customer service, then I wouldn’t mind paying I tip, but don’t force me to especially if we don’t have to. I surely know that after this experience, I will no longer be returning to this restaurant with my family again.

We keep returning because it’s the best around. I have never seen a buffet walk around with a thermometer to be sure the food is to the correct temperature before this buffet.

Great buffet! Solid sushi and hibachi; the buffet food was good as well. The only downside is that the cheesy spinach tasted like it was fresh out of the freezer.

Low key, not busy buffet. Was in the area and mood for sushi today so decided to give this place a go. Suprised me how good the sushi was. Its no high end sushi but its right inbthe middle. Also i think i fell in love with there salt and pepper shrimp. As i write this i have recipes waiting to look at lol. Overall not bad for a quick and inexpensive bite.

Use to go there a lot. Went yesturday FIRST TIME since before Covid with my 3 year old grand twins and 3 adults. We were charged 17.99 for the kids and 20 for 3 adults. Then when Bill comes 12.99 service fee on the bill. A service fee for what????? One plate of food EACH for three adults and a scoop of Mac and cheese for the twins three years old. Cost 104 dollars and a tip. NEVER AGAIN! SICK ALL NIGHT FROM FOOD!!! Both my husband and I got sick. Teenage grand daughter stomach pains all night. The two kids were fine. They were smart they only ate Mac and cheese. Never again. Use to be a great place. I will pass now.
