Was good but not now. I know prices have gone up. If they need to raise their price a bit to maintain quality then they should do that it smaller menu to maintain fresh ingredients. Just a thought.

I tried a couple of Chinese spots in Matawan but this place is the best by a far margin. Place is clean and the portions are so generous. I usually order the lunch special of the chicken & broccoli with GARLIC SAUCE. It’s so good. Other garlic sauces from other places are just not right in my honest opinion. This places MAKES me want to eat broccoli.

Super Clean and rather large inside. We always order take out. The food is not the typical take out Asian style.. It’s not over powering with oil and salt flavor. They cook the food really well using very little amount of oil. The final product is super clean tasting and doesn’t leave you feeling disgusting after. It’s really delicious. Also an added bonus is they offer a coupon for the Car Wash next door!!

After moving to the area i tried out several Asian cuisine places in the area, and this is by far the best! Not only do they have the classic wide variety of dishes, but they offer choice of white meat or dark meat, which some places dislike doing. They are fast, and food comes out really well. Using General Tso’s as a comparison point most places cook it so that it has a hard sauce coating on it and is more crunchy than tender, Asian Fun corrects this mistake. The thing that really sets them apart for me is that the staff is always so friendly and pleasant. I’ve ordered several times and been told by the staff that i can get free egg rolls or dumplings because my order exceeded a certain cost. If i wasn’t told i would have been none the wiser. On several occasions I was even given free almond cookies, no reason than because they had them available and wanted to thank their customers. Best food and staff!

I eat there about 3 times a week. Compared with quite a few other Chinese food restaurant in Matawan, I found their food the best. I’ve chatted with the owner and become friends, they told me that they always cut and prepare ingredients fresh on order, no wonder it’s good.
