Very run down interior. Sesame chicken had the texture of jerky, as also in one clump stuck together. Fried rice is flavorless and had an odd color, very grainy (probably left overs). Crab rangoon were strangely peppery. Egg roll is small, but taste OK (only item worth ordering). Pricing is WAY OUT OF LINE for the portion size and quality. Definitely not going back!

I loved the food I got. Super fresh and flavorful, perfect spice level. I got orange chicken and upgraded the rice to be chicken fried rice. Not gonna lie tho I think it’s overpriced for what you get. U get half a container of chicken and the other half is rice so legit one serving. And a little egg roll on the side. And it cost $17 before the tip. For like half of what you normally get at a chinese place for dinner which would be like normally a full container of chicken and a side box of rice… so don’t really get how they get away with those prices, but the food is really tasty!

Went the Saturday night before Halloween. I get that you may expect people to be drunk and not notice but it was pretty disappointing to get tofu instead of white meat General Tso’s chicken. I should have looked inside the packaging of the carry out before I left but still. Not sure how the shrimp fried rice, general tso’s, and one egg roll turned out to be $41.09 on my bank statement… totally not worth it and really regret not trying Delicacies of Asia instead. This is the worst Chinese take out you can get downtown.

WOULD GIVE NEGATIVE STARS IF THAT WAS AN OPTION. Completely mucked up my order. I ordered “not hot” vegetable fried rice, it was near indelibly hot. “Vegetable fried rice has snow peas, napa, mushroom, bean spouts & onions.” It came with added broccoli which I do not care for and bamboo shoots.

Came here after bar hours and was highly disappointed. The rice didn’t taste fried at all. It tasted like microwave bag rice. And the wings were not the tradition Chinese fried wings. It’s one 1 person working and the prices are not reasonable especially considering the fact that the food didn’t taste Asian at all.

I’ve been looking for this type of American Chinese food in Madison for a long time. Did not disappoint, everything was great! There are many things on their DoorDash menu that I appreciate that other restaurants don’t offer. I’ve never seen General Tsos sauce as option on the side before, and we ended up getting to use with Sweet n Sour chicken instead. The fried rice was perfect. The fried vegetable dumplings were different and I loved them and the sauce they came with. It also appeared to have an option to do those dumplings as a combination with fried rice or such if you wanted, another great option I don’t see anywhere else ever. Will definitely be ordering again!

I was verbally accosted in Asian Kitchen after politely saying that my takeout order was made incorrectly. The man working there immediately started screaming at me as soon soon as I raised my complaint. I felt incredibly unsafe as me and my friend (also female) were the only two in the restaurant with this man. I will never be returning here and I implore others to go to one of the many other Asian restaurants in town.

i just got asian kitchen, yummy fried rice but i got the chicken wings and it was covered in WHOLE HAIRS???? i almost bit it and gagged when i saw how many hairs were friend into the crust. it costs $30 for friend rice and some chicken wings, and the wings i got were covered in haur

New favorite Chinese take out/delivery restaurant! Great tasting food in the heart of downtown! Highly recommend the Orange Chicken, Chicken Teriyaki sticks, Crab Rangoons & ‘New Style’ Fried Dumplings. I ordered take out twice in the past week and plan to visit again soon.
