I went to Asian Star on a Sunday at about 1:45. It was fairly busy. I’d say almost 3/4 full. When I arrived, i was greeted and sat at a table. Shortly after, my waitress came and took my order. They serve Pepsi products here for drinks. I also gave her my food order. I already knew what it was getting before I got there. I ordered a large Egg Drop Soup and the Mongolian Beef with White Rice. Probably about five minutes later, the waitress brought me my Egg Drop Soup. It was bigger than I expected. It was so good too! It was really really hot, temperature wise. I’d be careful if you got some or have a child at the table near it. It was really good! Right before I finished my soup, the waitress brought out my Mongolian Beef with White Rice. They kept them separate. My Mongolian Beef was on the main plate and the White Rice was on a smaller side plate in a ball. The silverware that was on the table only came with a fork amd straw. They did bring me a spoon for my soup and they also added a spoon to my Mongolian Beef. I just scooped the rice onto the main plate as I ate. It tasted great! It says it’s spicy in the menu but I don’t find it very spicy at all. It’s my favorite dish there. The waitress was attentive to my needs. She also was very thorough cleaning the booths that people had been at. I believe she was the only waitress there. As I was finishing my meal, a large group of people (13) came in. She worked vigorously to get them seated. There are no tables in there that will hold such a large group. She started putting tables together to get them situated. They definitely needed one more waitress on the floor. Not a huge dining area but not small either. Dimly lit. Restaurant was clean. Staff was friendly. It was quiet inside. No music playing could just hear customers talking. Place was great. A little short staffed but they got the job done. Food looked and tasted great. Soup was really hot so be careful with it. Tasted good though. This is the first time I’ve been back here since you could dine in. Definitely happy about it. Will definitely be back! My order was a large Egg Drop Soup, Mongolian Beef with White Rice and a soda. Total was $20.55.

I went inside and placed an order to go with fried rice. I got home, and my order was incorrect they had white rice instead. I went back to the restaurant and informed them. They lady let me know all orders come with white rice it would be be up charge for fried. Okay not a problem I ordered fried rice in the first place. Really expected them maybe to just give me the rice since I was put out drive time and received an incorrect order. Instead, she had me pay for the up charge and I had to wait for it to be corrected. I’ve owned business and would have just fixed it without the charge due to the inconvenience to the customer: It was not about the money the fact that I had to drive back to their establishment and have the order fixed while the rest of my food sat at home getting cold.

Absolute worst customer service i have ever experienced. I was called and immediately hung up on, called back to confirm my order. I waited in the lobby for 30mins before the 2 cahsiers finally decided it was time to help me. They then stated they tried to call and the order was not placed even though i called back and the lady confirmed the order. She said we tried to call several times(once) and sent emails(i received the email while sitting in the lobby). I will never ever eat here i dont care if the food is the best chinese food in the entire US

The first time I was disappointed. I was ordered white noodles with shrimp but got napa cabbage with a lot of water instead. Next time should be cautious when the order to go need to check on it.

The food here is very good and the serving size isn’t skimpy, so one shouldn’t still be hungry afterwards. The employees here have always been nice and take care to ensure that all take out orders are complete before sending them out. There are plenty of options to choose from on the menu. The wait for our order was not too long. It only took about 20 minutes to receive our order, which was quite large, even though the place was busy.
