Happened to go on a quiet night but they still had live music, service was great, food came out fast and was delicious. We had some draft beer recommended by our waitress that was also great, refreshing, super cold and went well with our food choices. Parking available behind the courthouse in the garage or valet for $15 across the roundabout.

Some of the best Georgian food you’ll get in South Florida. The restaurant decor was outstanding. Only downside is that the Shoti bread wasn’t that authentic. It was not anything like the shoti I’ve had in Georgia. Another thing is that I don’t think any Georgians work there? I wanted to speak a little Georgian to someone but I don’t think anyone spoke it there… Not a bad thing whatsoever, but setting some expectations. Good service, totally worth the visit!

Our server Ksenia told us about the place and gave us excellent recommendations for food and drinks. Food was perfect! Again, I highly recommend their cheese plate I will definitely come back.

This is an awesome restaurant. Many Americans are not familiar with Georgian food. If you live in Ft. Lauderdale, or are visiting you should not miss the chance to experience real Georgian food and dining culture. Having missed Georgian and Ukrainian food for the last year it was such a pleasure to dine at Askaneli. If you are not familiar with the food just ask for advice and background. And, try the Borsch and Salo!!! It’s awesome. Thank you Askaneli for creating this restaurant.
