I had an amazing experience at Aspen Kitchen. The aged steak and the house made ricotta were my favorites. The sommelier was very helpful and friendly. I was surprised by the the executive chef Emile with a great sample of the ricotta. Don’t miss out on this great Aspen restaurant.

Absolutely lovely. Service was phenomenal, menu was light in choices but what they offered was amazing.

The food here is outstanding. Not your typical ski town grub! The steaks are aged to perfection and super tasty. The bacon appy is a must try!

The young chef and the kitchen staff are very talented and you can tell they know what they are doing. The service is phenomenal. Drinks are as good as expected. House ricotta and clothesline bacon is something amazing, probably the best and most clever appetizer I’ve ever got. If you go for brunch ask for the french toast nuggets, are delicious. And the burger? Probably the best in town. Oysters are fresh and come from East coast. The meat is from other world: they even have a ton to age the beef so the steaks are very tender. Great place.

I’ve had the pleasure to dine at Aspen Kitchen on several occasions but wanted to take a moment to review them because of yet another exemplary meal. I dined with 7 others today for Sunday brunch. I do believe it was the best breakfast I have experienced in Aspen. We had amazing views dining outdoors. The staff was very accommodating and asked if we preferred sun or shade. We started off with cocktails and appetizers. The clothesline pork belly with lavender honey glaze was a great conversation piece. We loved the asparagus and sweet pea salad. The house made ricotta appetizer surely pleased us all. The entrees were equally divine and not a bite went uneaten. I am a local, and hate to share how divine this place is but they deserve the recognition!

The food was 9/10 and super solid, I was really impressed, some of the best I’ve had in Aspen. Service was good but the server was the typical guy you find in high end places, if you aren’t buying bottles of Dom (and we still racked up a $500 tab for five of us) I’m taking your order and ignoring you the rest of the night kind of guy. I’d certainly go back, but have a discussion with management prior to being sat.

We ate at Aspen Kitchen during the Food and Wine Classic. The service was the worse we got the entire weekend. The waiters do not tell you the price of the specials so beware. I ordered a glass of wine that was terrible and the waiter offered to bring something else…which I gladly took. But I was still charged for the bad glass of wine (that I did not drink). The food is just not worth the prices they are charging, especially if the service is going to be so lacking.

I am an Aspen Local of 29 years. Hands down my FAVORITE spot in town! Dinner is always wonderful but I’m going to rave about Brunch. A group of us sat on the wraparound roof top deck last Sunday. The sun was shining and my Bloody Mary (with extra olives) was perfection. We ordered the homemade ricotta, oysters and the bacon curtain to share. My asperagus frittata was so delicious. Portions are nice big. I suggest going with a friend and each ordering something different so you can share and try a little of everything. The servers were also very attentive, that’s something I value highly as well…. I’ll be back next Sunday !

Only 8 dinners in this restaurant tonight. Off season. I ordered the 50 day aged medium rare (cool) NY strip steak. $64. With a (cold) baked potato. $12. The steak was okay. Not as tender as I expected. My wife loved her salmon.
