We frequent Assateague Island, and had never been to this hidden gem of a diner/bar/grille. The food was delicious and PLENTIFUL. The service was fast and extremely friendly, and the atmosphere was comfortable, and family-friendly. We DEFINITELY will be returning very soon.

Drove down the strip looking for somewhere to sit and have a nice meal. Prices were either $50+ per dish or there was over an hour wait. We’re here during the slow season before the vacationers show up, so most places are still closed for a couple weeks. The ones that are open are with limited staff. After not finding any luck on the strip we ventured off to Assateague Bar &Grill. It shares a parking lot with a gas station and the restaurant was empty. Not looking good so far. Sign inside the restaurant said to see the bartender for seating. We opted to sit at a bar table so we don’t get forgotten about and weren’t dining in an empty room. Everything turned around from here. The bartender was super friendly and attentive, and the service was quick and delicious. My girlfriend got the meatloaf and I got a crab cake sandwich. The sandwich was really good. She offered for me to try her meatloaf, and normally I wouldn’t because I don’t care for it, but this one looked great. I took a bite and it was fantastic. Much better than any other meatloaf I’ve had. We finished with Galub Jamun for dessert because I like to try new things and it was delightful as well. Once we sat and got settled, everything was great. Our only minor remark would be that the music was very loud in the bar area.

This was a nice surprise! While the atmosphere isn’t great, the service was superb a d the food delicious. The restaurant is in a gas station center but don’t let that change tour mind. The menu isn’t filled with choices but you’ll find something to enjoy. We started with a soup and salad. Both were fantastic. We followed either fish and chips and Cajun chicken. We were not disappointed!

My wife and I always try to find those hidden gems. This is a hidden gem. Great burger and half price on Thursday. Lina was an excellent server. As others say don’t let the outside fool you. The food us very good. No wait no hassles.

Not impressed. Happy Hour was poor. Actually very poor. Very little offered except some minimal drink discounts. When I paid the bill I hand her cash. She kept the change. I guess she felt she deserves a 40% tip.

Decent dining experience, good for kids. In a plaza where there’s a Gad Station, C-store, Restaurant and Bar. Our waitress was running the bar & restaurant all by herself. The cook delivered our food.

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The food lacked taste, and there were no utensils provided. I believe this place should not be serving food. I typically avoid leaving negative reviews for restaurants because I understand the importance of their business, but this was an exceptionally terrible experience. I won’t be ordering using doordash not stopping by.
