My wife and I were very pleased with this place! It was perfect to enjoy our anniversary. Firstly the service was supreme! Gladis was super helpful explaining and answering all our questions, she made a couple of suggestions that we went with. She made sure that the food was properly done and stayed near by in case we needed anything. She was friendly and spoke about the restaurant and her family, just a extremely nice person. Now on to the food, I don’t have the words to describe how absolutely delicious it was, we order a bottle of wine and really took our time enjoying the food. The atmosphere, like most Greek restaurants it’s decorated to make you feel like you are In Greece from the pictures to the music even down to all the small decor. This is a must try and we will definitely be going back more öfter. Thank you Gladis for making our Anniversary a memorable one.

Food was DELICIOUS! It is best if you make a reservation online, as it was already quite busy before 5pm. But we enjoyed sitting out on the darling patio (they had heaters out there to keep the temperature nice after sunset). Service was, understandably, a bit slow with it being the busy hour and our lack of reservation but the staff were all super friendly. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for Greek food. The lamb platter and gyro fries were both very good. And the Baklava was the best I’ve ever had.

I would come back! The food is delicious. Light, yet filling. Exactly what you want when going to a Mediterranean restaurant. I think they are still working out the kinks when it comes to service, but that’s expected when reopening. Happy hour was great!

I’ve been searching for a good Greek restaurant for a couple years but they all didn’t really meet the mark (either food wasn’t good or the service was awful), but finally came across Athens and you get the whole package! Everyone is super friendly and welcoming, the owners and staff are very kind. And the food is top tier. I had the Octopus and met the chef who cooked it to give my complements it was so good!

I have eaten a LOT of Greek food and this place is awesome. The grilled octopus was like butter and the lentils were so yummy. The eggplant dip very flavorful. My sister loved the chicken souvlaki. Great glass of wine. Lovely afternoon on their outside patio. Also love that it is a family owned restaurant and the staff were very friendly. Did not see any misters tho and wonder if they will be installing some for the summer hot weather. We definitely recommend Athens and will be going back again many times!!

I ate here with two friends on a girls trip and it was so good we came back for a second night! The dips were all amazing, especially the spicy feta. The grilled octopus was so tender and the lamb was delicious. Julie, the matriarch of the business, was so wonderful and friendly.

Went for lunch last week. Love the restaurant and service but the food wasn’t as good as in the past. The Gyros sandwiches were a bit salty and the hummus had a different flavor and consistency.

The best Greek food in AZ! Hey, I’ve eaten in Greece, a lot. My son-in-law is Greek and a heckuva good cook. I know about Greek cuisine, and THIS PLACE IS THE BEST! In addition to fantastic food, the service, setting, menu range are all exemplary. Even the other guests are fun. Just sorry it took my wife and I so long before we discovered it–don’t make the same mistake.
