First time coming here. The reviews were mixed so I tried this place. Keep in mind they don’t open till 1 pm. First of all, the woman that takes your order was amazing. She was extremely helpful placing my order and explained the different sizes. Second, when you place your order, you wait about 10-15 minutes. That is explained. Third, keep in mind this is a fish market ok They sell fresh fish of all sorts. Yes it will smell like that. Finally, the staff was professional, friendly and respectful. The food was delicious. I ordered the perch basket with the house lemon pepper seasoning. Extremely tasty. The basket came with 4 pieces of fish, fries, and a roll. Thank you for giving me amazing service. I recommend this small fish market to everyone. All the bad reviews I read still made me go in.

This place is garbage! came here with my wife and got two baskets, blue gill and gator. both were undercooked to the point the breathing wouldn’t even stay on and the gator was especially nasty. All gristle. Will not be be back and will not recommend. Service was as terrible as the food

Ordered cod and fries through delivery and recieved rancid fish that made me sick and undercooked fries that were still frozen in the center. Besides that their house seasoning just tastes real bad, the flavor doesn’t complement either the fish or the fries. Would strongly advise folks to look elsewhere for a meal.

At the age of 63 never thought I’d be ordering anything with the word crack in it but the crack sauce seasoning on the jumbo shrimp is every bit addicting as I hear that crack is !! Just the perfect place to get good fresh hot food and the staff is great.. PLEASE never change a thing.

The crack seasoning was good when I first tried them. Now the seasoning is overpowering the food. I asked for light seasoning that didn’t happen. I asked for no seasoning and the fish looked raw. I like their food but chill on the seasoning.

Visited this place for the first time last week. We got the catfish nuggets and the white fish (I think), along with fries and fried okra. Everything was fried perfectly! We will be back soon to try some other menu items!

Really enjoyed the food, got catfish bites and fries. It’s not fine dining, but that’s not what I wanted, just some tasty fried food. Order was made quick and building seemed clean and well kept inside. Overall a good experience.

They were very busy, Saturday dinnertime, and only had 3 people working. When I got my catfish and fries home, both were undercooked. Good place to pick up fresh fish to cook yourself, but I wouldn’t recommend grabbing a dinner to go.

Ordered smelt, lake perch, and bluegill fillets. All of it was over seasoned! To the point of gagging, and could even visually see, just a pile(s) of seasoning on the fillets! Like it was just poured out, but not evenly, not even shaken around to try and break up the piles of it. This was my third time here, an I believe will now be my last! Almost $40.00 worth of food. And not one of the three orders, were seasoned properly! An you didn’t even bother to ask, if I’d want any tarter sauce!! I don’t know if it was the cook, or counter person… But you shouldn’t be seasoning anything, to the point you can no longer taste the fish, or anything else you have cooked!!!

The smelt and fries dinner option is awesome taste wise and fresh. They pull the seafood out of a case in the front of the shop, weigh it, and cook to your preference. Lots of Togo orders getting pickup so if your not eating outside the market than place your order on the phone or you’ll be waiting extra time. Prices are slightly high and if you pay via card there is no spot for a tip….. so make sure you bring cash for a tip.
