Good To Be Here!
Serving Pittsburghers since 1930. Whether you’re enjoying our food at our restaurant, at home, or at a wedding — Atria’s makes it Good to Be Here.
Atria’s History
The original Atria’s in Mt. Lebanon was owned by Italian immigrant Joe Atria and dates to 1930. It began as a grocery store, then expanded into a barbershop and dry cleaners. In 1933 prohibition ended and Atria’s began to sell beer. Along came food to feed the hungry — both highbrow attorneys and blue-collar working men alike.
In 1998, Pittsburgh natives Pat and Nancy McDonnell transformed Joe Atria’s historical Mt. Lebanon landmark into an upscale casual restaurant that today serves up American classics in neighborhoods all around the Greater Pittsburgh Area
Family-friendly local chain serving a variety of American dishes including seafood, steak & pasta. Based on 691 reviews, the restaurant has received a rating of 4.4 stars. Price $$

We had a lovely evening at Atrias. All three of the people in my party had delicious meals. The quinoa bowl was one of their only vegetarian meals but it was very flavorful and filling. We sat out on the patio and had great service.

Love this Atrias! It is the best location of all the Atrias! The service was fast and friendly. We love sitting at the bar, very lively! The only reason that the food didn’t get 5 stars is because of the dessert. We were excited to hear that they had chef made bread pudding. The pudding was super dense It was dry also as if there wasn’t enough custard to soak the bread. Our waitress was kind and had the manager remove it from our bill.

Dinner was to die for. Portions generous and prepared to perfection. So disappointed the gorgonzola pasta was taken off the menu. Please bring it back. Was looking forward to ordering that as I always do. Disappointed with the hostess. We had a reservation inside in case it rained. Upon arrival we told her we would like outside seating since it had cleared up and there were several tables available. Told her 3 times. When she went to seat us, she was bringing us upstairs to be seated. We said, no, we wanted the patio. She made a comment that the reservation was for indoors in a harsh manner. I said, no, only if it was raining. Her face told it all and tried to sit us in a corner table without an umbrella when every other empty table had an umbrella. My husband told her he needs shade, she threw the menus on the table and said the reservation was for 3. Told her it was always only for 2 since I made the reservation. Then she said, that’s not what it was. Not a good first impression. We dine there often and disappointed with this particular hostess. The other person greeting people was wonderful.

This was a great find south of Pittsburgh! We did carry out and ordered chicken parmigiana, quinoa chicken bowl, grilled salmon salad and chicken pot pie. The pick up process was a bit dysfunctional, the order was about 15 minutes behind but the staff was good about it and it was worth the wait. We got the order home quickly and ate everything family style. I would say the chicken parm was the best, followed by the salad and the incredible chicken pot pie. The quinoa was also excellent. If your in the area, this place is worth trying!!!!

Staff was friendly and kind, by far the highlight of my visit. Ordered the crab bisque which was a bit underwhelming, but the crab cake sandwich was very good but came with some soggy fries. The restaurant was clean and well kept, would eat here again!

Had my daughters birthday party there for 25 people. Food wasn’t served for 1 hour and 45 minutes. I’m talking about The SALADS. This was a party that was planned months in advanced, with a limited menu. Guests had to leave before they even got to eat. No apology from management.

I took my younger son here for dinner. I forgot to take pictures. But he had the meatloaf which he loved. I had the fish and chips that were fried to perfection. You could tell the oil was clean. The service was great. And they even have valet.
