I ordered sea food okra because of others reviews and it’s not worth the hype(Guess today wasn’t a good cook day), too much oil in the soup and had to drain most out, less okra & more stew, tasted bland, picture posted online is different from what’s served and the sea fishes there were shrimps and periwinkles. Giving 3-stars because the food was prepared in a timely manner and it’s sufficient for two.

We hired Chef John for my mother’s birthday and it was more than I expected. He was very polite and professional. And did I say the food was amazing. I wasn’t sure how my family was going to like because we never really had nigerian food. But food was amazing! My family is ready to hire again for another personal Chef Experience. My hairstylist (T Queen) recommended Tee & John’s Kitchen to me. It was the best African food I have ever had! I ordered Jollof rice, chicken, and plantain. It was Covid-safe. They brought the food to my car. The presentation was wonderful! The food was individually wrapped and on a nice platter. The food was hot and delicious! Highly recommended! A word of advice: order your food in advance. This is home made food, not fast food. They need enough time to prepare it properly.

This is the best Nigerian food available in the entire DMV area, Bar None! I have never felt compelled to write a google review on any food establishment but the entire experience from order to plate and delivery was exceptional. I happened to stumble upon Tee & John’s kitchen on Uber Eats and my first order was the garnish pepper fish and plantains; not only was I immediately blown away by the attention to details with presentation. The fish was literally the best I have ever had!! It was incomparable when it came to seasoning, freshness, quality & quantity. I immediately placed my second order the next day, this time wanting to try almost the entire menu!! I ordered egusi and fufu, seafood okro and garri, gizdodo, basmati rice and ayamase. Every single thing was 20/10 I called Chef John and thanked him personally, declaring my loyalty and my mission to spread the word. There is truly no need to look anywhere else for remarkable & authentic Nigerian food!! (Added Bonues Customer Service is also Exceptional)

Tee & John’s Kitchen came through for us this Thanksgiving. Everything I ordered was made to perfection. The food came with divine taste. I had to clarify if the poundo was made with mortar and pestle because it was so succulent. The smokey Jollof brought back the real Nigerian jollof memories. Efo riro and the turkey top notch!!!!! Definitely proud of myself for ordering with them.I will be ordering again soon.
