I was interested in trying Sean Brock’s food for a long time, but sad to say, this dining experience is a bit of a let down.

A wonderful food experience all around. Forgo your own plate and do family style as suggested to get a taste of everything. You will not be disappointed in the Audrey’s chicken and dumplings, deer pate and the out of the world grits and cornbread.

An incredible dining experience here. All the dishes were really good with lots of layers of flavours and complexity in how it all comes together. Really like how much it highlights in season produce. The service is top notch. The space is really beautiful too. Would definitely come back.

We had an incredible meal here for our anniversary. Everything— literally every single part of the experience— was picture perfect. I highly recommend this place to people who appreciate Appalachian food and those who’ve yet to explore the cuisine. Incredible! Spectacular! Delightful!

Great experience at Audrey. One thing i must note is that the risen bread (highly recommended, it’s a must, actually). The best chicken & dumplings I’ve ever tasted. The entire menu is superb. Ended the night with a rice pudding dessert which was to die for. Great ambiance, I had the pleasure of being seated by Rebecca. She was extremely helpful and welcoming. This place lives up to its reputation of being one of the best, if not the best places to dine in Nashville.

Audrey was the main pick for a birthday dinner based on reviews and restaurant description and it managed to exceed expectations at every turn Chef Brock has curated an incredible ambiance in addition to a fantastic menu. The whole restaurant is beautiful, with incredible pieces of art throughout the dining room and up to the bar upstairs. The menu is well put together and the server brought us a special menu marked up to show what could be made to accommodate a vegan diet. Not a single bit of flavor was sacrificed in the vegan items we ordered. The drinks are beautiful and there are zero proof options for each style of cocktail.

Let me start by saying everything we had was delicious. The service was exception. That being said, it felt a little stuffy. I’ve eaten in restaurants in NYC, Boston, LA, London, etc., and it felt like the clientele was trying very hard to be trendy or above the rest. The restaurant can’t help that of course, and the food was delicious. The Appalachian Golden Potatoes were delicious, and I couldn’t get enough of the chicken and dumplings. We also tried the Jimmy Red Cornbread. The crackling sweet corn butter with it was to die for. Last we tried the BBQ Lion’s Mane Mushroom. It was also very tasty, but my least favorite compared to the others.

The food, the drinks, and the ambiance was 5/5…. The Somm service on the other hand was a significant miss however, it didn’t take away from the amazing experience we had… The grits and chicken and dumplings are simply amazing… The 72 page wine list was on par for the perfect pairings.

Went to celebrate my wife’s birthday and it did not disappoint 🙂 Never thought grits could taste so good. Some of the highlights: Wine pairing, Heirloom southern apples with foie gras, the killed lettuce, potatos and trout. Wish we had room for the chicken and dumplings – maybe next time. Only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the lions mane mushrooms – got it bc I love the nuttiness of the mushroom and feel I was overwhelmed with the saltiness of the marinade. Aside from that we had an incredible time and will be back for more.

I came here while in town for business, as it’s not every day that you get a chance to eat at one of Sean Brock’s restaurants. Audrey did not disappoint!
