They only do take out no seating since Covid…Food was tasty and care was taken with my Gluten Free issue…They were very aware and made me feel safe as they knew how to prepare for us both with one of us being GF…A drive away but well worth the drive…

August Moon is our go-to takeout Chinese place. My daughter is living in DC and has also lived in NYC. August Moon is still her favorite for Chicken & Broccoli. Note, their operating model is takeout-only (no dine-in).

Food isn’t that great, beef was overcooked/burnt and I had to toss the soup it was so bad. To top it all, they are still in mid COVID mode..meaning you can’t dine in and you have to wait at the entrance ( which is blocked off by tables, so you can’t go in any further) I’d say you’re better off at any other Chinese restaurant in the area.

Our usual Chinese food place has been completely shut down since Covid hit the area in March, so we tried August Moon. The restaurant has been in this location for many years, so they must be doing something right.

August Moon is our go to Chinese takeout restaurant. We like their lunch specials that come with pork fried rice (or white rice) and soup. They make the BEST general tso’s chicken and moo shu pork. Their kung pao chicken, chicken with brocolli, pork with garlic sauce, and hot and spicy beef are very good too.
