I have had some good country style meals here, but it can be inconsistent. Tell them if you are unhappy with anything. They are nice people and need to hear if people are not satisfied. One thing that HAS been consistent is the service and the quality of their ICE CREAM. If anyone knows of a place as good or better in Galax for ice cream I would like to hear about it.

Just ordered breakfast from here and it was terrible. Cashier was rude and had no manners. Biscuits were bland and completely tasteless. We got no fork for our biscuits and gravy and no napkins. We won’t be back.

Bacon plate was fair for 6 bux . 4 pieces of tater tots is a joke. Bacon was barely cooked and cold, and gravy was already pour on the biscuits in a to go plate gets pretty messy . Eggs look like something poured from a milk carton. I would only get breakfast here at 9am if it was the only place open …hardees is better…..

They were closing as I pulled up, but they took our order and served us anyway!!! Mega points in my book! No chain restaurant will do that for you. The food, well it is southern barbaque, and it is pretty hard to mess that up.

Gave me the wrong food, wouldn’t refund the difference for what they charged me and gave me. Gave me the wrong size drinks and wouldn’t refund me. Barbecue did not taste good, the chicken sandwich I got was tiny, literally had 4 onion rings and my kids got less than 10 fries each. Chicken strips had no flavor. Onion rings did taste good and the hush puppies. Terrible service. Will not be back.
