I absolutely enjoyed my experience at Aurelio’s Mexican Restaurant in Buford. This place is outstanding. They have quite a large selection (both recipes and sizes) of very fine Margaritas to choose from. Service was very friendly, helpful and prompt; everybody was working hard and doing it well. My Enchiladas Poblanas were most excellent, tasty, and fresh. The Salsa was perfect for my palate, as I tend to like it a little less soupy than some, and with just the right kick. Atmosphere? Well, everybody was clearly having a great time. Highly recommended!

I think this is either a new restaurant or under new management. In either case, they got it right. Very friendly greeting from the hostess. Nice decor, clean and best of all, they have a wonderful large covered patio. It was hot evening around 7pm but this area was cool and quiet. Our drinks and meals we delicious. The salsa for the chips was best I have ever had. They serve it in a large bowl and it’s wonderfully think and rich. Prices are reasonable, $50 including drinks, meal and tip.

Good stuff! We went for a quick lunch. Salsa was solid. I got the lunch burrito deluxe, the kid got the lunch chimichanga. Both really good, the sauce was great, decent portion, beans were tasty. The place is very clean and has a great atmosphere. The outdoor seating area looks fun, we stayed inside today though, because pollen. Oh also: they got that good ice.

This is a fantastic Mexican restaurant. We stopped by here when visiting. We came right before closing, on a Sunday night but they let us in anyways. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and the staff are amazing. It is no wonder this location has a perfect five-star review.

I ordered the carnitas dinner, and it was the best I’ve ever had! The Carnitas literally fell apart with perfection. I never finish my dinner, but I had no leftovers today. Husband got the steak fajitas, which was just as delicious. 9/10.

Could not be more excited to welcome Aurelio’s to the Friendship area! Been waiting so long for an awesome Mexican spot close to us. The location is perfect! Right at the end of the Publix strip mall which allows for a huge patio, the inside is so nicely decorated and it took me way too long to decide what to order because there are so many things I still want to try. We sat outside and it was shaded and lovely, their salsa is beyond delicious, awesome cheese dip, husband got carnitas dinner which is some of the best we have had, I got a SMALL shrimp cocktail, could only finish half! Great portion, super fresh. And I got a chicken Enchilada because, I mean, I need my Enchilada. Service was on point – didn’t even wait for a single thing. Can’t wait to go back and try all their signature dishes. LOVE IT!!

Well very disappointed with this place. The food was barely edible and the service was about as poor as it gets took forever. The chips and salsa wouldn’t have been any good if you had to pay anything for it. Heck even free it was barely worth it. Margarita, yeah well that was good. It’s hard to mess those up. But don’t see myself going back there again anytime soon. Sorry to say. Now. Not sorry to say.

Been here a few times in person and it was fine. Just ordered today and paid $50 something for delivery from uber. Ordered 2 pc quesadilla, only got one for both kids so I’m effectively missing half my order. Also got cheese dip, and it’s FULL of black pepper, and inedible for my kids. Uber eats refunded be $5 back but I still feel like I got screwed. Not sure if I’m willing to risk eating there in person again either after this experience.
