I have always tried to love this location, unfortunately it always falls short. Not a fan of the new look after the fire. Very sterile and cafeteria like. Much more character before the fire. Pizza is not bad, but just doesn’t hold a candle to the Homewood location. In fairness, none of them do. The waitress we had is awesome and has been a fixture there for years. Very friendly and welcoming.

Last night my husband and I enjoyed one of the best pizzas we have ever had. It was cooked perfect. We ordered a medium and took leftovers home. Staff members were remarkable. Thumbs up to a great pizza place. Tasted exactly like the original Aurelio’s in Homewood

Gluten free pizza was BOMB! One of the better ones I’ve had. My husband and I were visiting from New England and were really bummed about most of the food in the midwest…this restaurant changed our opinion about food in the midwest. Definitely check it out…also growing up on NY pizza this was pretty legit.

Ordered a large sausage, mushroom and green pepper pizza. Three pieces had no toppings, two pieces with only mushrooms, and only one piece with green pepper on the whole pizza. The last time I ordered was six months ago and the spinach calabrese had only one piece of spinach. The only reason I ordered from here was because the Griffith location is closed on Mondays.

Look the I’m not a fan of the sauce. There I said it. Don’t attack me! However it is decent pizza, good salads and ah-MAZ-ing service. The remodel looks great and they accommodate large groups and families extremely well. Because of this I will probably go back but I’m from the east coast and I just like a different flavor for my sauce. It is way better then others though so you should check it out.
