One of the most underrated sushi experiences in Denver. Everything is fresh and delicious. My other favs include Matsuhisa and Sushi Sasa. The quality is the same but the vibe is much more low key and doesn’t have all the frills it’s just super chill. Wear jeans no one cares. Wait staff and the guys at the sushi bar are all amazing!! The owner is always working and always smiling. Worth a trip about twice a week and it still won’t break your bank!

Sat at the sushi bar and everyone was friendly and the service was quick. I like watching them make the rolls and you can see everything while sitting at the bar.

Sonoda’s Sushi is great! Their prices are excellent when compared to other sushi restaurants of similar caliber, the sushi is good, and the service was very friendly and timely. We were even given free green tea ice cream and sushi-themed calendars at the end of our meal! I also appreciated the aquariums and neat fish 🙂

This is what you get when you order the shrimp and vegetable tempura appetizer. The box used to be so full it almost wouldn’t close. I’ve been a loyal customer for well over a decade, almost 2 infact. Service, quality and quantity for the price has gone up. Very disappointing. Customer service has taken a dive as well. Really unfortunate. You’d think they would support those that support them. This is a favored place of mine, but now thinking, 3 strikes you’re out. It’s time to branch out and find my sushi fix elsewhere.

This place was a shocker. This place is in an area where you discount double check the lock button on your care remote. The food was delicious. Best California rolls and I didn’t even order it. All my friends loved the rest of the sushi too.

My favorite sushi restaurant of all time. Nice assortment of fish. I always get the lunch combo. (The Wife does not like fish and recommends the teriyaki chicken. Beef and broccoli good, too.)

Very fresh ingredients especially the sashimi. The sea eel, freshwater eel, and sweet shrimp are the best I ever had. Rainbow and green hornet rolls are my favorite rolls. The staff was ok, but sometimes were very slow. Would recommend.
