Really really good food and service!! The brisket was off the charts. The German potato salad was DELICIOUS! The spare ribs were good but not a standout. Nor the Mac and Cheese. Too heavy. However, the brisket and potato salad and service were clear standouts and would bring me back to try more! I tried the 2/2/2 and had some great chicken and carnitas tacos with the aforementioned. Outdoor picnic bench seating ONLY. This is a conex box restaurant until they build their brick and mortar building.

An absolute 10/10!! Amazing food & an amazing team! You won’t be disappointed with ANYTHING you choose! Try the mac & cheese it’s a MUST! In my opinion max & cheese at restaurants is never good… this place HAS IT DOWN! Perfect flavor, great cheese-y-ness , and a little kick to it! Jimmy is amazing gift to the WPB neighborhood and I cannot wait to watch this place grow!

So excited to welcome my good friends to the neighborhood! The chef is true local rock star with some great restaurants under his belt. We are much over due for a proper Tex Mex joint. I got a sneak peek of the food – and it’s absolutely fire. The shipping container turned into a restaurant is located just across the street from Howleys on Dixie. The tacos and the brisket grilled cheese is an absolute must. Do yourself a favor and pay them a visit.

Fun place and great food…never been to Austin, TX…but I’d settle with this place for frequent visits if this is what Austin, TX is about. It’s great that they had water mist blowing…but those flies was about to lift me out of there! See you soon!

Wow! Chef Jimmy prepared an amazing sampler of the menu for us tonight. Each of the meats were carefully curated and smoked to perfection! I really enjoyed the house made Texas hot links, three day rotisserie chicken, brisket & the pork spare ribs.

So excited to have Austin Republic in the neighborhood, we just had our first visit there for some excellent bbq. We had a plethora of items but top 3 favorites were the brisket, chicken and the burrito. You can tell this crew puts a lot of effort into each offering on the menu – stop by for yourself, you will not be disappointed.
