On a road trip stopped here for dinner with the family. We ordered several dishes and not to take away from the rest of the dishes we had but the sautéed mushrooms were the absolute best I have ever had. I personally ordered the 24oz “Trail Boss Porterhouse” and I know from cooking them at home it is very hard to get the meat closest to the bone cooked properly but, being this is a steak house I was not expecting my medium steak to be rare at center.

I got the gator tail. It was fantastic, so was the spicy sweet sauce. Prime rib was on point as always steamed vegetables were wonderful potatoes need a little bit more seasoning plenty of garlic need more seasoning. I hadn’t been here in three or four years and this is good as it ever was.

I had to go home and cook my wings for another 20 minutes so this is what they looked like after. They were seasoned and flavored but needed to be cooked longer. We had a large group and the guy who had our section seemed fairly new, He had to keep coming back to change our orders because they didn’t have it the way he said we could have it such as a peach margarita on the rocks I was told I could only have it frozen then he said I could get a free drink since they didn’t have what I wanted, just to turn around and say well will charge you for the original drink and give you this instead. We had already had our salads and drinks before the waters we ordered came out. I ordered and appetizer but it came with the meals so it was no point of ordering it because I had to wait to get it, howevwr the brought out other appetizers but not mine. It could have been they were short staffed last Sunday, so I was patient and still tipped on top of the gratuity because our server was doing the best he could.

Maybe Thursday afternoons aren’t the quality time. Stopped in on my way thru for prime rib as advertised, but thet don’t serve that till AFTER 4PM, so I had overpriced gator bites, $11 & change. Meh. Bland meat smothered in deep fried salt. I’ve had better. The loaf of bread was interesting, never had a crusty loaf with a warm soft center. Not sure what the “butter” was, it’s also didn’t have any flavor. Place is dated, bathroom is clean tho. Staff was great!

This is a must eat place if ever visiting Valdosta. My daughter is stationed there and we came across this place. Definitely recommend it and always eat there when I am in town. She has also taken several friends there and we have never been disappointed…

Tried this place for the first time and must say that our server Noah made our experience very welcoming. The food was good and our server was very attentive. For my family experience we were very satisfied with everything. I have no complaints at all. What I eat here again. Yes and I highly recommend it to others as well. Hope you guys enjoy.
