We came to 11th Street Station because it was dog friendly and kind of stumbled on this food truck because they had gluten-free and dairy-free options. We were blown away at how delicious it was. I got the Tree-Hugger, a vegan mix of salad, rice, lentils, and a super yum secret sauce. It was a perfect mix of crunchy and saucy, warm and cool. My guy got the Island BBQ Bowl and said it was a great blend of flavors. The pineapple added a nice touch. I almost want to come back again tomorrow. This place definitely deserves more stars.

I’m surprised by the poor reviews of this place – I loved my Thai Chili tofu veggie bowl. It was perfect for a cold and snowy day and way more food than I could eat in one meal, so it was lunch and dinner! Lots of rice, and also lots of flavorful tofu and edamame. The other veggies (peppers, carrots, maybe some squash?) were diced super small but added great texture and flavor. I literally took a pic because I liked the blend of flavors enough that I might try making something similar at home. Service was fast and they were friendly about letting my dog come with me into the indoor dining area on-site. I enjoyed my random stop at Avalanche Bowl!

We ordered the Poke bowl and the Tree Hugger bowl. The poke bowl didn’t have seaweed salad, avocado, sunomono, sesame seeds, or green onions. Thr tree hugger bowl didn’t have wild rice, lentils, Brussel sprouts, kale, sunflower seeds, and the mushrooms were button, not blue oyster. I’m really upset that I didn’t immediately go ask for a refund but it was pouring and I tried to accept it. The more ingredients I realized were missing, the more upset I got. The guy working the truck was also not very pleasant.

My wife and I both had the Island BBQ bowl and loved it! It was absolutely delicious. We finished off the meal with some deep fried Oreos, and those hit the spot too. Jack was friendly and provided quick service! We really enjoyed our experience here.

Very expensive and I got mostly rice. The steak was somehow burned on one side and pretty much raw in the middle? Not sure how someone could mess up a rice bowl so much but not good.
