It was my first time at Avanti’s & it was wonderful. The nice menu selections include appetizers, salads, entrees, pizza, children & senior portions, desserts & a variety of wines. The historic building showcases its historic posts & tin ceiling beautifully. There is a long bar to sit at to enjoy a cocktail before or after dinner, and the bartenders & servers were all very friendly and service minded. (The hostess, however, on July 7, 2023 evening, was less than friendly / accommodating. Smacking her gum during our entire time there, she neither acted, looked, or dressed as a hostess of this fine establishment. I don’t mind the pierced nose ring, but do mind when a teenager chewing gum stares blankly at us from the hostess stand & we have to ask, “Are you the hostess?”)

Keep Going
We really enjoyed our meal. Both of our entrees, lasagna and chicken piccata, were delicious. The wait staff were attentive. The drinks that our dining companions had were reasonably priced. I’d stay away from the onion soup if I returned.

Busy on a Saturday on an unusually warm day, ate at the bar. Don’t be shy when trying to order as it’s full of locals. Food was very good, had the lasagna with a Caesar both were very good. Menu is pretty large. Spencer is at the bar. With this community growing I hope the owners plan for the business.

We walked in starving 🙂 be aware, entrees come with a side salad. We initially ordered a side salad to help suppress our hunger only to find out when we order our entrees that a salad came with it. Joshua hooked us up and didn’t charge us for our initial salad, we appreciated that! I went old school with spaghetti and meatballs, it was good. My dining partner had chicken alfredo, said they enjoyed it. I had a glass of red and a Paulaner. We were stuffed so we didn’t do dessert. Oh, and the bread was quite delicious… Or we were simply starving, but it was still delicious.
