Dinner was my first experience here. My son ordered buttered noodles and they lightly doctored them up and it was amazing. The pizza put all the Philly pizza to shame. It was amazing to say the least. The onion tart was unbelievable. The meatball app was so good the kids asked for another. I highly recommend this adorable little pizza pasta place which also serves wine and drinks.

I made a reservation for a Tuesday night and was greeted by the hostess who rudely said your table is here when we arrived and pointed to a table in the take-out area. Since it was my first time here, I assumed this was the eating area, but I was wrong as person after person was escorted nicely to the back restaurant area. People with reservations or not were treated warmly while we sat in the hot take-out area as people sat crowded around us as they waited for their orders. I ordered the Chicken Piccata which was one piece of fatty chicken. By the time the waiter checked on us my husband was almost done eating so I refused to wait for another piece of chicken. I did ask the waiter about other seating and he nervously laughed saying there were two other restaurant seating areas. We got the check and left and walking past the restaurant part we saw there were plenty of tables in the restaurant part so there was no excuse to seat us in the hot take-out area. Horrible experience, do not recommend.

2 of us ordered the BBQ shrimp appetizer because it was fantastic at the St. Michaels location. Unfortunately, this was not the same app. It was closer to a bowl of Worcester sauce with a little extra salt added. While my food was delicious, another person who got a pizza said it was just okay and better at the St michael’s location. Lastly, an order of fries showed up at the table barely barely warm. The Saint Michael’s location was fresh in our minds because 3 of us had been there just a couple of weeks before and myself and my wife and I had been there about 3 or four weeks before. It was fresh in our minds, and we wanted to share it. Unfortunately, I doubt they’ll want to go back.

Love the design of this restaurant and the pizza is great too. I love their crunchy crust that’s soft on the inside. It was a bit salty but not a problem. The spaghetti at the next table looked really good. A good selection of wines. Attentive service.

Ava’s in Cambridge….applause applause applause! The scent of pizza baking when we walked through the door last night was intoxicating, yummm! We have only been to the Ava’s in St. Michaels, for many years now, but the pizza in Cambridge was a step above. I don’t know why or what the difference is but we were so impressed. Excellent service, beautiful location. Wow, sorry we have not visited sooner.
