Avenida restaurant delivers an authentic and delectable Filipino culinary experience. The dishes burst with genuine flavors that transport you to the heart of the Philippines. From savory to sweet, each bite is a journey of taste. The remarkable authenticity of the food easily overshadows any shortcomings in service. Avenida is a true gem for those seeking genuine Filipino cuisine.

Avenida hits the spot and fills the craving for Filipino food. The grilled squid was my favorite, but we also enjoyed the marinated grilled chicken. The crispy pata was the favorite for my friend visiting from Japan. The grilled and fried food definitely required to San Miguel’s to accompany the meal. Service was attentive and friendly and the environment was clean and lively. Though busy, noise wasn’t a problem. I would recommend Avenida and would happily go back.

Staff were great, food came out quickly and was delicious. Loved the ambiance and the cleanliness of the restaurant. I’d been craving halo-halo and this did not disappoint. Looking forward to returning again soon!

Brought my mom here for her 75th birthday since she loves to cook & criticize! My mom always has comments like “It’s uncooked”, “It’s too salty”, It’s too bland” etc. I’ve been here so many time that I already had a conclusion that she would like the food here. Besides, with a very fancy atmosphere, plus, being a historical location, it would be a treat! We tried almost everything from the tortang talong (basic eggplant with egg), salpicao, tokwa’t baboy, ceviche, pork BBQ, skewers, pansit bihon, kaldereta (beef strew), to pork sisig, cocktails, mais con yelo & buko pandan etc. and to my surprise, SHE LOVED IT! She said that it has a very homey ambiance & has a sense of putting a Filipino restaurant into the next level. Personally, it’s by far a level up from Gerry’s grill and way, way far from Kalesa when it comes to food quality and atmosphere. It was a win for me making my mom’s birthday have an enjoyable dinner with family. The staff, Catch (manager) and waitress Leah (I hope I spelled her name right) were very accommodating and attentive with our needs. We even got birthday candle to blow for the birthday girl! This place is highly recommended and will be remembered as part of my family tradition in celebrating special occasions!

Great spot for delicious Filipino food. The lechon kawali and sisig were amazing, especially paired with the adobo rice. Service was on point as well. Would definitely come back when we’re in the area.

Avenida is on OpenTable for reservations, but they are also accommodate changes. I called them to update our reservation for an earlier time which they were able to. On the day of our dinner, I had to update the number of guests and they were also able to accommodate it. The servers are also attentive. I asked for a high chair and they also put the child’s water in a plastic cup with straw instead of the glass.

A nice place to get Filipino dishes. We ordered tinomok, which is kind of like eggrolls, lumpia, BBQ pork skewers (3pcs) which is very good, and grilled jumbo squid, which I like the most. The garlic rice was very flavorful. For dessert we ordered halo halo, which is OK. There is pretty big mezzanine which is kind of like a VIP room and there was a birthday party there that evening.

It‘s our first time trying out Filipino food and everything tasted amazing. We ordered crispy pata, jumbo grilled squid and beef shank kaldereta and that’s more than enough food for a party of three.

This place was recommended to me by a co-worker, so we stopped here for dinner before we picked up our mom from the airport. My siblings placed our order while I went to restroom (we had a long drive), but they forgot 1 dish. I proceeded to ask our server to add 1 more dish, he’s comeback was “are you sure you guys already ordered a lot”. I felt humiliated because he made us feel like we eat too much. I have never been asked like that in a restaurant, they are restaurant after all; they are there to serve food as long as the party can pay theu have no business questioning their paying customer. We were also served with a chipped dish, not expecting that from a place like that. Anyway, we were there to try crispy pata and yes it was good, lechon kawali was also good but the rest of our order was a little disappointing. I would rather go to Isla Restaurant, first there servers are nice, food is always authentically delicious and the price is better.
