Had an awesome lunch here! Showed up around 1:30 and it was bustling but there’s plenty of room inside so it wasn’t hard to find a seat. They have so many sandwiches and delicious-looking baked goods to choose from, including a pretty decent selection for vegetarians and some for vegans! Also a full coffee/tea menu, but the drink menu is only on a small paper at the register and not on the large chalkboards, so I didn’t realize they had it until I was placing my order. But the worker was very patient and helpful while I was deciding on a drink.

Lovely atmosphere in the shop, staff was smiling and very pleasant to talk to. We stopped here on our way for hike to grab sandwiches. Prices might be a bit too much, considering the size of foccacia. Though the taste was totally worth it! I also tried their coffee – strong and delicious in taste!

Avenue Bread is one of our favorite places to get a yummy sandwich. I was given a gift certificate or gift card to go here so we went to this location to try it out. We hadn’t been here before but it was very nice. Delicious sandwich, helpful friendly staff, clean comfortable dining experience. Look forward to coming back.

My to go order was completely wrong. They have promised to make it right. We’ll see if my replacement sandwich is made as requested. Seems pretty easy to make a BLT with avocado ♀️ It seems like about half the time I place an order for pick up it’s wrong. The delicious food, when the order is correct keeps me coming back. I hope they can improve. I always wonder if it’s worth giving them a shot when placing a to go order!

I passed by this business several times thinking it was a bakery. What I found was the best spot for breakfast or lunch in Bellingham. Clean, spacious and has a charming decor but this is nothing compared to the impressive menu selection, quality and quantity of the food and outstanding service. Perfect spot to meet friends for coffee or a meal. The prices are very competitive and they donate part of their bread sales to charity each month. I highly recommend Avenue Bread. I know I will visit regularly.

While this is a chain restaurant, it feels more like the place if a local entrepreneur. The people here are friendly and helpful. I marked them down on service, as they make you order at the front counter and pick up your own utinsles and such. They do bring your order to your table.
