Ordered delivery and I really used to like Aver’s above most other big names out there, but the past couple of times (including the very last) my pizza was nearly raw in the middle, most likely because of the obscene amount of cheese. I don’t ask for extra. Every piece I pulled up, the flimsy undercooked dough came away from the giant glob of cheese in the middle, leaving a sloppy mess all over the box, and half of my slice void of any toppings. The breadsticks were ok, though. One of my favorite places to order from, especially late at night, has gotten lazy, or oblivious to the way they make pizza, which is a very bad thing for a pizza place. Thanks but no thanks, I’d rather buy a frozen one than order from Aver’s again.

Tried to get delivery on a Monday. After an hour and a half I called. Was told they were busy but my order was out for delivery. 30min later they pull up while I’m on the phone canceling the order. Ridiculous. No offer to comp anything or remake the food ( I mean how good could it be being driven around for 45min?). Never again.

While I’ve been a huge fan of Avers in the past, my order tonight kind of did me in… Over the last few years I’ve noticed a significant increase in pricing, but I overlooked that because the pizza was still really good and of course nothing stays the same price forever… but tonight both of our pizzas looked smaller than normal and the ingredients on the pizza looked and tasted cheap. Ultimately I would have to equate it to some of the better frozen pizzas I’ve had. So if there was a change in crust ingredients, topping amounts, etc… I hope you’ll revisit those changes and bring back your old recipes.

Ordered delivery with quoted 35 minute delivery time. After 57 minutes called shop told they had a driver cancel last minute would be delivered in 10 minutes. It has now been 15 minutes and no pizza. So we are now at 1 hour and 15 minutes past our order time. Understand staffing issues but when called to check status suggest giving more realistic times. On a positive note the delivery driver was very professional and apologetic.
