Cozy booths and dim lighting made for a comfortable experience. The carnitas and quesadilla was amazing, especially the queso!

The service is very good from the staff I think that honestly it’s the only reason I came back, but the food in general is bad, very bad, poorly served, very poor, the first time I ordered shrimp a la diabla and they are too seasoned, it is said It’s a Mexican restaurant but those camarones a la diabla aren’t, at least not the Mexican recipe! And this last time I ordered some camarones al mojo de ajo that didn’t even taste like garlic, the shrimp were overcooked and had a very bad taste. It really is a place that I definitely will never return.

I work down the street at Starbucks and walked down to meet my family for a late lunch and it was amazing. The food, the service and the atmosphere. I highly recommend it.

This place is such a nice relaxing vibe to it but the indoor and outdoor seating give you the same comfortable feel it’s really cool one of my friends ordered the nachos looking at that plate all I can say is that I found all the way I’ve lost another one of my friends ordered the soup but I don’t know how to pronounce the soup so I’m just gonna assume it’s good

Chips were stale but I liked the hands free door opener in the bathroom.

Avila’s is a must-go visit when you’re in the area! The staff is very friendly and the service was prompt. There is table seating outside and inside the restaurant with a bar down in the lower section. The restaurant is known for their Mama’s Soup (which is delicious!) and highly recommend to first-time visitors. It’s a relaxed atmosphere with all the charm of a family-owned establishment and the pride of the community.

Charming atmosphere, friendly service. Chips, salsa, guacamole are among the BEST ever. Chips are thin, hot, and very fresh. I had the Sizzling Fajitas, which were picture perfect with tender beef, tomatoes, peppers and onions. My friend had a Chili Relleno and was very satisfied. I had the pleasure of eating at two different Mexican restaurants in three days. Avila’s El Ranchito in Corona Del Mar was the first. I would give them 10 stars as their food was superior in every category.
