Aviva is one of my favorite restaurants. The food here is excellent. I especially enjoy the traditional Margherita pizza. Aviva does Neopolitan pizza really well. They use high quality, authetic ingredients. Their wood fired crust is smoky and chewy. Aviva’s pasta is also very good. And the staff are friendly and kind.

They have pretty good pizzas for relatively good price considering inflation these days LOL. The table next to us had his top of his pizza Brown a little bit more which I like but the bottom crust was nice and crispy and good all-around for a pepperoni pizza. I just have a pet peeve when people put cheese on the pizza and it doesn’t go all the way to the crust so you take a bite and it all comes off. Other than that the flavor was pretty good

The amazing food keeps us coming back, but it is equal with the amazing staff. Today, Sue at Express took time to have a chat as I waited for my order. She is always there, always smiling and cheery. Today, after months and months of down days, she lifted me up! It costs nothing to be kind, and Sue and the staff at Aviva serve up kindness with their amazing eats!

My wife and I took a day trip to Pittsburgh. We looked for a place just outside of town to stop for dinner on the way home. I am a huge fan of brick oven pizza so this place really stood out to me. We truly enjoyed the pizza. It was fresh and delicious. We will definitely be eating here every time we are driving through.

Great place. Everything we got – bread sticks, pizza, stromboli, Caesar salad – was excellent. Fresh and well prepared. We sat at the bar because we had 5 and didn’t call ahead on a weekend night…. We’ll call ahead next time. Our server was attentive and nice. The beer was cold and the drinks nicely made.

Busy on a Wednesday night but still managed to get a seat at a bar like area right across from where they make the pizza. Had a BBQ chicken pizza and a pepperoni one. The pizza was good, not the best I’ve ever had but good, and the dough was really nice. Despite being busy our waiters tried to check in on us a few times. I say tried, because a couple of times she asked how we were and left needle we could answer or I could ask for a refill, but she did mean to get back in time before I actually needed a refill. Then I had the tiramisu which again was nice but not the best I’ve had. I don’t live in the area, but I’d I came back I would probably visit this place again.

One of the best Margherita Pizzas in Pittsburgh, if not the best! Fantastic Ranch too! The FRESH MOZZARELLA on the pizzas & sandwiches really make it. The Regular, the Aviva, the Vodka, and the Bianco pizzas are ALL great too. Chicken florentine sandwich is quite good as well.

I have Parkinson’s and they refused service due to having a 10 lb. Service dog. The hostess was the rudest person I have ever encountered at a restaurant. Went to Montecellos. and had a great meal and great service
