The Chimichanga Ranchera is so yum! Love the smokey flavor of the sauce combined with the mozzarella cheese. The guacamole is also quite perfect. The only item I would not order again is the Tamales. Seem to be lacking flavor, but otherwise, this place hits the Mexican crave for sure! Thanks !

I feel so bad because I never really write reviews good or bad. But unfortunately I finally went in last week and my experience really wasn’t the best. The chips and salsa made my stomach hurt which is strange and I ordered a steak wet burrito and I only got through one bite. The place was completely empty and my server kept watching me from the corner? He was staring at me the whole time and it made me uncomfortable when he asked how it was I told him I couldn’t even eat it. He gave me my bill and when I went up to pay I told him I could pay for the chips and salsa but I couldn’t even eat anything because it all made my stomach hurt. The manager gave me a bit of a hard time after that. I wanna give it a second chance so of course I still tipped and just left. I hope it goes well moving forward.

Gave this spot 5 stars after our second or third visit, but wasnt sure what more to say. After several more visits, this has become our favorite Mexican spot to eat at. I actually bought there hot salsa for a friendly salsa competition at work and it was voted the best of 7 other local places. Their guacamole is the awesome too. The guacamole chimichonga with steak is my go to, always have half to take home for the next day cause it’s big . Only downside, no beer/alcohol to go with the killer food.

Tried Avocado Mexican Grill takeout tonight. It was very good and we’ll definitely go back. I spent 10 years in San Antonio so my standards are pretty high. It’s difficult to get sizzling fajitas in Michigan, but I find that to be the case everywhere. Flavor and portions were good, above average. Guacamole and pico de gallo were both excellent.
