I love this place. I’m not a fan of the drink options, but my daughter likes the root beer, and the chocolate shake is my favorite. I no longer get chocolate shakes anywhere else actually. The corn dog nuggets are absolutely delicious as well, and the bacon double cheeseburger is so flavorful. Also one of my favorite fries around. The onions are a little much and the couple of times we’ve gotten the onion rings, they were a little burnt, but everything else is delicious. Especially chili cheese fries. They’re just as delicious cold from the fridge.

I got the chicken strip basket with bbq sauce, fries, coleslaw, and their famous root beer. It was excellent as usual although the coleslaw was a little more sour tasting than I remember but still very good. The atmosphere is fun and super nostalgic, you can pull your car right up and order straight from the outdoor menu like a blast from the past. The service is friendly and quick. It’s a great place if your thinking fast food. I would recommend to anyone.

Been here countless times over the years. Food is normally very good but is more hit or miss than it used to be. Definitely reflects newer management over last few years. Staff has always been great unless you call a complaint then that’s a different story. Still 1 of our favorite places in town

Who doesn’t love a good Root Beer float?? We love this place!! Only thing that could make it better is roller skates and some old cars!! Enjoy a coney and say hi to Korisa (sp?) Very nice young lady and treats us old folks good.. ..tip her well!! Should be employee of the month every month!

I love A&W in Yale. The girls are always happy and friendly. This is a drive up and use the call box, just like I did as a young girl , so it brings back happy memories. Their onion rings are one of a kind, taking a bite I’m transported to being 16 again.

Today I stopped by for one coney dog. You were busy but when I have to wait from 6:30 until 7:00pm for one coney dog and when I got it it was not even luke warm. All I wanted was a coney dog. Well, I will tell you and anyone else I see I didn’t mind the wait but the food prep was horrible. I am sure it will be a long time before I drive to Yale A & W again.
