NOT IMPRESSED!!! I stopped by for a much needed lunch. Ordered the bacon cheese burger combo. The fries were cold and chewy. The onions were much larger than the beef patty and the bacon was equal to almost a half slice of bacon that was all chewy fat and gristle. The only part of my meal I enjoyed was the rootbeer. Next time I need a quick meal, I’m going to McDonald’s.

Nothing better then a A&W root beer on tap out of a frosty mug I tell ya what. The burgers are very good as well and the service is always fast. I highly suggest stopping at one, especially if there isnt one near you and you happen to see one while traveling. It’s worth the stop.

Ok but not much better than the soda selection at a gas station… Not the A&W of old, now its just a root beer choice, food is no different or better than steak and shake. Sad for the few of us who remember the original drive up restaurant of old.

I am addicted to the cheese curds! The A&W in Mt.Pleasant, Iowa does not have much parking and the staff are not as friendly as most of the other fast food places.
