Decided to stop in for 2 piece Fish combo meal at A&W for lunch. I chose coleslaw for my side dish. Overall it was a good meal. One piece of fried fish was perfect, the other had a little uncooked batter. The coleslaw and Root beer were great!

Just went through the drive through. Forgot an entire meal from my order. Indoor dining was closed due to staffing so I had to wait forever in the drive through line again. Employee handed me hush puppies instead of the missing meal. Got home and discovered that my fish sandwich was instead a chicken sandwich and daughters burger had cheese when I specifically asked for no cheese. I know that it’s hard to find employees and the ones that are working aren’t very skilled. You need to do better though. Train your people and manage their performance. No excuse for this lack of service.

Really like the LJS part of the restaurant, but the A&W buns are always cold. Heat/grill/toast the buns, please! Service is usually good, but it can take awhile to get your food. Dining room very hot in summer. Great root beer in frosty mugs.

I like both franchises, the Long John’s clam strips were on point but the A&W floats were a joke. I was handed them over flowing with root beer head then when that settled it was below the rim and the straw can spin freely so where’s the darn ice cream?
