Me and my family went in today. They had fish tacos on the special menu. The sauce was awesome and they were very filling, the batter on the fish was great also! The kids loved the chicken tenders and shrimp baskets. My wife had the crab cake sandwich and loved it also. We will definitely be eating here again!

Samantha, our waitress was excellent and very helpful in getting us drinks to go and bags/boxes without hesitation. The food was extremely good, especially the Salmon Special! The salmon was perfectly cooked and the crab meat it was presented on added to the delicious flavor in the salmon. The Tapia with crab and shrimp was also very good, but wad surpassed by the salmon. We are definitely coming back again! 🙂

Went with family and friends on New Years Eve and excited about getting crab legs. We put in our order and they came back a while later advising no crab legs available and we were there around 7:30. The servers should be aware of an item of this popularity if still available. I ordered crab cake sandwich but never got the pepper sauce and my husband got a sub but the bread was so hard I could hear him crunch down on it and it had little meat for the price. Prices too high for the quantity and quality of food. Even the fries appeared to be over cooked or old oil being used. I will be back for the bands but not for the food. Disappointed evening.

Poor service….I asked if I could taste a small sample of clam chowder before I ordered it and she said no we can’t do that! I have been to many restaurants that will ask if you want to try before you order. When asked about menu items she was less than excited about recommending anything! The only thing to look forward to was the snow crab deal on Tuesday that they no longer do!! Not worth the price for just okay food and poor service.

The service, more like the non-existing ‘service’ was just that! A slow evening during the week we sat at a high table in the bar area. And sat…and sat…the bartender was not busy and a group of what I’m guessing was supposed to be servers/waitresses were having there own personal pow-wow…after walking to the bar & ordering was asked if we needed something. I guess it was more difficult to ignore a man standing in your way. He asked if they still came to the tables. Was told yeah, if you need something to eat. Uuummmm…wouldn’t you have to actually approach to find out??? Needless to say, we definitely did not eat there. Have heard similar & worse stories about the poor service there since. One friend even said his experience was so bad he requested the manager & turns out that is likely who trained the wait staff on how to be so rude

Never Toyota Owner Ever Again
Twice visited, both times fish burnt. Last time so over cooked it was like eating Styrofoam. Told waitress and she only “awwwed.” $18 for dry burnt fish and overly salted chips. The place is unattractive. Won’t ever go back.

We usually love Awful Arthur’s and eat at the Mechanicsville location quite often. Unfortunately our last visit I was less than pleased to see that my pound and a half of crab legs consisted of only 3 average size clusters!? Being an avid seafood junky I buy a pound and a half of crab legs everytime I go. Usually I have 3-4 clusters in a pound and 2 clusters in a half pound. Seeing that this time I only received 3 clusters total I said something to our waitress about it. Her explanation I’m still trying to wrap my head around.. she said the reason there were only three clusters was because they were coming to the end of crab season so the clusters are smaller!?? Sooo if they are smaller shouldn’t I have more clusters not less?? A little irritated and feeling ripped off..not sure if my wife and I will be returning to this location

Would hardly call this place seafood. Their bread for the crab dip (which looked like plaster) was unseasoned cut up bread sticks. The waitress have another table our food. I ordered steamed shrimp, but when they came they weren’t properly closed as there was still black matter in the poop shoot. My boyfriend’s meal was salt with a side of tuna steak.

Drove all the way from Highland Springs to try out this place. Over priced for the quality and quantity of food. Example..Crab balls very small in size and the amount you get for $10 . Shrimp scampi hardly any butter or garlic taste. It was more like shrimp watered down over noodles. Such a disappointment for all of us.
