Came across this place while looking for somewhere to eat before a movie. Upon entering, it looks like your typical rustic tap house. It wasn’t too busy at the time, so the service was excellent. Although the food not so much. The food came out quickly, and it tasted nice. Though, the portions were WAY too small for the price we paid. I paid 18 dollars for a spicy chicken sandwich, and it was way too small. Along with that, another person in my party paid extra ($7, I believe) for 4 pieces of shrimp in the salad. I know this place is relatively new, but lowering the price of food or increasing portion size would be a plus. Apart from that, good experience.

Everything about this place is awesome!! Went there tonight with a large party, sat very quickly. Yes we waited a little bit for food but as to be expected as the place was very busy. The service was great, manager and staff are super friendly. I was appalled sitting next to a table and all they did was complain of how long their food was taking, mind you they had apps and drinks prior. I could not believe how they treated the server and how they were reacting. People like them should stay home and cook their own meals. I loved every minute of it and can’t wait to go back!!

We were super excited for this place and were disappointed. I don’t ever waste my time leaving reviews for places but had to for here. I understand a new place having some issues during opening but food portions were not worth the price. One of the managers came to talk to us about the meal and was very standoffish when we gave honest feedback. Hoping this place makes changes and can survive. Lots of restaurants don’t make it in this area. To be fair our waitress was awesome and made a bad experience better.

People need to realize, this place has been open a whole two days. We went to the soft opening and thought the food was very good and the staff was great. It is obvious that they put a lot of time and money into the place as it was very nicely designed and its huge. To boot, it opened on a very wet and rainy holiday weekend. The place was slammed. Give them a chance before passing judgement. I will definitely go back. The pizza was delicious.

I wish people would take time to consider that this business has only been open for two days and their opening day got canceled due to loss of power which is hard enough. The team is most likely new along with being short staffed and they need some time to work out kinks. If anyone went and had a bad time maybe think about giving it a second shot after they’ve been open more than 48 hours. The staff was so great in the axe room and were a real pleasure to be greeted by. The servers were great too even though our food did take a while since they were so busy. The staff did a great job staying calm and kind during the panic. The axe throwing was spectacular and we had such a great time in there. I’m confident after a few weeks this business will start running smoother. I just hope people keep in mind that the staff is trying their best. I’ll be back for sure:)

Food was good, but small portions and the service was absolutely terrible. Our waitress was extremely rude, slow, and condescending. When asked about a missing item, she gave us attitude. Then, we were double charged for a beer and when asked if she could remove it, the waitress insinuated we were lying about only having purchased one beer. Will not return, would not recommend lunch service.

First time stopping in here as a gilford local and I’ll definitely be coming back a lot. Great food, great staff, and great times! Rich the waiter was awesome and the owner Jerry stopped by to say hi and deliver food. The whole staff was very nice and genuine.

My friend and I went up for a couple of concerts back to back at NH Bank Pavilion and had dinner twice at Axe and Ale Taphouse. Kacey, our bartender, on the first night, ended up getting swamped because of the rain. She was phenomenal. I can’t express enough how well she handled dealing with both the bar and the serving tickets, she looked like a natural. I highly recommend the food, the atmosphere is great, but most importantly, our server Kacey was phenomenal.
