We really enjoyed our meal. We were looking for a quick bite and we were pleasantly surprised to find this place. We will be back.

So good! I am already thinking about how I can manage to swing by here again…from Washington State! We are on our way to Arroyo Grande and this was lunch stop. I’m so glad we found it! We took our meal to go and they wrapped it up very nicely. AL pastor tacos with grilled pineapple was The Bomb!

This restaurant makes vegetarian substitutions for almost anything you want (even if it’s not listed on the menu). The fresh churros are absolutely to die for, crispy on the outside and so light and fluffy on the inside and dusted in the perfect amount of cinnamon. Great local spot for a variety of members of the community to enjoy. You will not be disappointed!

I ordered a guareche with asada and it did not disappoint. The bottom was a bit crunchy while the top was full of meat, cheese, sour cream, chopped onions and cilantro. My husband order the molcajete extra spicy and it was definitely very spicy and delicious.

Okay, I gave it a couple of tries before writing a review. The restaurant itself is nice, I enjoy the use of space; clean, open, good light and comfortable seating. The food is definitely acceptable. Today we ordered a couple of Modelos and some Nachos (with the meat on the side). For our main course my Husband ordered a carnitas torta and I ordered cheese enchiladas. We had planned on enjoying our beverages and appetizer at a leisurely pace but everything came out at once. When we visit restaurants we like to enjoy ourselves, take our time and savor each course. I should have disclosed that I am a vegetarian, since to my surprise I noted bacon in the beans that I was served. Our waiter was kind enough replace them with refried beans. At the end of our meal we were presented with our bill and failed to notice that the advertised Tuesday senior discount wasn’t applied. (And we’re clearly seniors ) Anyway, we will give Ay Caramba one more shot sometime in the future.

It was ok. I was hoping for better flavor. My kiddo loved the kids burrito and ate all of it! Definitely expensive.

Servers are friendly and food is delicious. Home made tortillas, flour and corn and the huaraches. Chile relleno with Monterey Jack is a must try. The fajitas are juicy and flavorful. They have multiple tvs to watch the game. They have a bar to sit at and order beers and wine. Ive never tried the desert but the churro cart with ice cream are popular. I didnt care for the tacos. They need to double layer them. They also give you chips and salsa for free and the green salsa is delicious.

This place is delicious. The tortillas are made fresh on site. My wife had the Molcajete. Included chicken, steak, ribs, and chorizo with nopales and green onion. I went with the shrimp cocktail and it was great also. Packed with lots of large shrimp that were tender and not at all rubbery. Live entertainment. The lady sang nothing but hits. Both in English and Spanish. The service is friendly. Not friendly like cookie cutter friendly but genuinely glad you’re there. This place is a definite hidden gem.
