We have eaten here twice now and both visits were the same. Service was friendly, welcoming and attentive. The food is fresh and delicious. If I had any negative thoughts, it would be pricing and need for spice in the salsa. When I consider the food, service and overall experience I have to say it is one of the better places to eat in the area and I give it a high rating.

This was our first time at Ah Wey. We came for lunch, the service was great and our waitress was very attentive. The food was delicious, I got the Lechuga Tacos with a side of Mexican corn and my husband got the choripollo. The prices were great for the amount of food we received. The salsa for the chips was a perfect level of spice even for those who don’t like overly spicy foods. We will definitely be back again!

A friend and I stopped by today for a late lunch. Everything was phenomenal, this is one of the best Mexican restaurants in Lexington hands down. All of their cocktails are made with fresh juice that they prepare themselves rather than store-bought mixers. The food surpassed my expectations. I was highly impressed with the quantity and quality of their food and cocktails. Definitely try the live guacamole when you visit! All of the employees were really nice and multiple employees stopped by the table to check on us. I will absolutely be back and bring more friends to check out this new restaurant. I see this place going very far and am excited to have this new addition in Lexington.

Omg! Where do I start? The host was amazing and the food was out of this world and the Margarita flat drinks were amazing. The waiters came to the table to always make sure we had our cups filled if we needed extra salsa if we wanted more chips. I would say if you have not gone to this restaurant! You need to The atmosphere was amazing , looking for real authentic Mexican food stop here This will be the place that will soothe your taste buds. Me and my family found her favorite spot now. Great atmosphere with friendly staff and good looking food. Issues being the food had virtually no flavor. The salsa looked nice and fresh made but tasted watered down. The chicken tasted like straight chicken, couldn’t taste any spices or anything. Chorizo didn’t even have a bite, it tasted like I was just wading unseasoned hamburger. Refried beans and rice had decent flavor but the star of the show left me disappointed. Also onto the pricing. As many others have stated it is on the higher end of the price range. $40 for two to eat bog standard mexican is almost outrageous. Probably won’t be going here again. Just can’t justify spending that much for subpar tasting food. Also server didn’t check on us once after we received our food until we were done and asking for takeout boxes. Disappointing experience overall.
