We got the mixed grill dish and it was too burnt. I’m not sure if the dish is just supposed to be like that though, but blackened beef and vegetables isn’t what I was expecting. The waiter took our order and didn’t come back till after we finished our appetizer to ask us again what we had ordered (that mixed grill). After being at the restaurant for over an hour and our water got refilled 3x, we flagged down the hostess and asked her to check on our food since we still didn’t see our waiter. She brought our food out right away. The booth was uncomfortable too because it’s disintegrating, and I was wearing shorts since it’s summer, so the seat was very rough. Overall, the best thing about my experience was the busser because he was the most attentive and seemingly the most competent person there. Thank you, bus dude. However, we won’t be back.

Great Mediterranean food and friendly service!! Patio seating available. Parking space is tight but can find adjacent street space most of the time. Complimentary fresh bread tastes great. Kizartama (crispy egg plant) and fresh beets with goat cheese is a great starter to have with some red wine. Wine selection is small though. Tavuk stew and chicken sis kabab are good size entree to have and have flavors which bare authentic Mediterranean style! Kadayif which is ricotta cheese and pistachio based dessert is mouth watering and nice way to finish the evening! Definitely worth a five star place if they ramp up the wine and cocktail selection.

Took my Turkish mother here while she was visiting America. The worst Turkish restaurant we’ve ever been to. This was our first time here. Zero Turkish hospitality observed. The establishment was dark, it smelled dirty like a dive bar. Greeter/waiter looked very unclean, appeared hung over, unwashed looking hair, dirty t-shirt. (Turkish establishments are usually always impeccably clean and employees groomed/kempt). As we waited in a booth, the waiter and another employee were talking ridiculously loudly about the drinking parties they went to and how much they drank, and what type of liquor they drank. The food was awful—even something simple like some butter requested by my mom—was rancid, or let’s say, it was a hunk chopped of a stick of butter and it tasted and smelled like the refrigerator it came out of. A total disappointment taking my Turkish mother, an embarrassment.

Without a doubt by far the worst restaurant I have ever been to, I ordered the mix kabob and I literally had to return the beef kabob 3x because it was extremely raw to where it was still bloody. On top of that, one of the waiter would literally come by every 30 seconds and ask me if I wanted more coke, im like no dude you’re fine, not joking it was every 30 seconds because I started to time him, I thought the guy was messing with me or something. N the cherry on top of the whole thing, they automatically charge 20% tip, I went at 6pm on a Thursday and it was completely dead. The tip should be left up to the customer, terrible food, terrible service and yet they still charged for the tip. I would recommend McDonald’s before I ever do this place to anyone of my friends. I don’t know the cook was but the owner needs to fire him

It’s a gem for Turkish cuisine in St. Louis. Loved the outdoor seating arrangement, fine wine and Turkish cuisine. Definitely recommend to couples, family and friends looking to spend quality evening with great tasting food and ambience.

I love this restaurant. Its close to my home and I eat there all the time. I think Ive had everything on the entire menu. Every single dish is delicious! The owners are super nice as well. The Kofte is probably my favorite dish but its really hard to choose because all the dishes are amazing. The tabbouli is the best I’ve ever had, and do not skip on the sarma (stuffed grape leaves) as it is delicious.

Great Turkish food! We had Kofte and Islandar. Both were delicious and tasty. The staff were so polite and nice. They checked with us very often and refill drinks almost every 5 mins. It was good but I think it was too much. I have one small point that they can easily fix. It was so dark there. We could not see what was in our plate.

This little restaurant is a gem. Parking was tight, but the food and service more than made up for that inconvenience. I enjoyed the shrimp kebab — wonderfully seasoned, served with rice and seasonal vegetables. Our party feasted on humus and flatbread as an appetizer. Our waiter recommended a wine that went well with our dishes. In all, an absolute treat. I look forward to my next visit there!
