I have been coming here since 2019. COVID certainly took a hit on this place.. there is a huge turnover of staff every few months. I frequent the place for Happy Hour, prices have increased over the years which is expected. But the quality has decreased. I absolutely loved their truffle fries, they just don’t come with as much truffle oil anymore so the flavor is lacking. The fried rice is really good, and is a huge portion it is just VERY salty. As for the Sushi: avocado roll, shrimp tempura, spicy salmon and California are among the rolls I have tried. Sushi always comes fresh, never a problem there. My mom decided to try the garlic mussels off the happy hour menu, she was disappointed. They came under cooked. She made the staff aware of the issue and was given another order of mussels this time cooked up to par. Though the muscles were not comped for the mistake on the kitchens end, she enjoyed them. I don’t see my self dinning here in the future. There are so many other great sushi restaurants up and down the Main Line and in Philly that deserve business. Another turn away is the clientele, the restaurant is full of entitled rich people, who complain. (A situation I witnessed) The young hostess is explaining the restaurant is full and unless you have a reservation you need to wait. A woman with her children starts ” We come here every Sunday, never have a reservation and never have to wait. I just can’t understand this is ridiculous.” Eventually she complains enough and gets her way, the hostess’ supervisor/manager takes the woman to get seated.

Azie on main is sort of hidden for us. Like other reviews said the atmosphere is nice.

We always love coming to Azie, but I especially wanted to write this review because our experience on Saturday night was a bit unusual. As always, our food was great (mostly sushi rolls and edamame) and the service was terrific. It was A LITTLE busy there when we arrived, but we weren’t in a hurry. However, the table next to us seemed like nothing was going right for them. They waved over our server while she was taking OUR order, and in general, just seemed rude, impatient and unhappy to be there. They repeatedly called the server to the table, sent several items back to the kitchen, called the manager over more than once. If you get poor service, or the food is terrible, I understand complaining. I’ll never understand being outright rude and condescending to servers and restaurant managers. I hope the staff at Azie know we like them, respect them, and always have a great experience there. And I hope those 4 people never return.

Loved our server. The sliders were more raw then we were expecting and wished they asked us how we wanted jt to be cook.

Wonderful girls night dinner. The inside of the restaurant is massive and beautiful. The sushi rolls were massive with fresh fish and minimal rice (which is great). The sweet potato roll was totally an unsung hero and (admittedly, surprisingly) amazing. We also got the chicken pad thai which they nicely split in two for us. Ok flavor and overall fine. Our service was mediocre – she seems distracted and disinterested and missed some parts in our meal.

Great lunch special near Villanova! Loved the atmosphere and easy to park too. Some of the best Miso soup, soy sauce, and sushi that I’ve had in a long time.

Nice restaurant! Was looking for a place with gluten free and vegan options. Menu items are listed gf and vegetarian and I ordered the teriyaki glazed tofu (listed as chicken but an option to sub tofu), it was really good! This restaurant is a bit tricky to fins if you have never been here before, have to go around to the back. The restaurant is a bit dark so may need to use the flashlight on your phone to look at menu options. All of the staff was very friendly.

This place is fine if you enjoy airport food, service and atmosphere, which is exactly what I experienced. Ordered some dumplings to start. They were microwaved to mush. Sent them back. They apologized. It was on my bill. Meal didn’t get any better from there. Anyone that knows anything about food should avoid this awful restaurant. Just appallingly bad in every way.

Everything was great except for the food. It is almost as if the chef does not taste the food. The only great dish we had was the halibut, that dish was excellent. The tuna tar tar was good, but not remarkable. Same with the Azie roll. The strawberry jalapeño roll just did not go to together. The chilean sea bass had no flavor and was over cooked. The Chocolate Toban Yaki was not warm in the middle. Brioche Bread Pudding was more like a firm piece of banana bread and the flavors did not meld well.

Quiet night, thanks to the Phillies game. The bar wasn’t obvious when you first walked in; most of the restaurant wasn’t obvious from the door (which was nice). Restaurant would be great for a date night: plenty of cozy booths and well-positioned tables that would create an intimate setting. Bar was long and wide/deep, but with a few too many stools (would definitely be awkward getting in and out if crowded).
