Update: 7/17 – Decided to take another trip over to Azteca Grill. This has been our 3rd visit and I have to say that the service has been consistently amazing every time we’ve gone. All of the servers we’ve sat with has been amazing to us and embraced the our entire family. They’ve been welcoming and attentive. Onto the food, I like to get different things all the time. I also try to eat higher protein and lower fat. I ask for customizations everytime and they have no question about doing what I request. This recent time my wife got Carnitas and they were the best I’ve seen for quite some time. The portion was massive and I had to try a bite. It had a crispy exterior and a soft juicy center. Absolutely amazing. I had to add some photos of our recent meal.

I would not complain about food at all. Food was good. Even the proportions were enough. But this place definitely lack I. Hospitality and service. Hospitality was too rude and overall service was poor and slow.

I was really hoping to find a new favorite since I miss some of my old out of state options. Unfortunately, I was disappointed by all but the service which was relatively good. The music either from the restaurant or the business next door was way too loud and had the base all the way up which made the booth vibrate and conversation difficult. The beans and rice were both very overcooked and dry. The Chile relleno was okay but had not been seeds so the crunch was unexpected. I don’t think we will be back.

One of our favorite places in Powell. Amazing food. Great staff. We love Azteca. All the specials are yummy cannot recommend anything. Every-time we order something new and we do eat at Azteca at least once a week. Oh and the margaritas are not to be missed.

Stopped in here randomly after a cold night at the zoo lights and was pleasantly surprised. Some of the best fish tacos I have had. Enjoyed the fried plantains as well. Also had a well-made Paloma. Would definitely go again.

One of the most over priced Mexican restaurants we have ever encountered. $86 before tip for 3 meals – outrageous! Food was good but not that good. If we had not been pressed for time and passing thru town we would have went elsewhere. Service was good but the atmosphere was just a standard restaurant with nothing fancy.

Amazing beef tacos. Steak grande burrito was a bit dry, but huge. The molcajete was really impressive, like fajitas on steroids. It can probably feed 2.
