This place is BUSSIN ! I paid $12 for this burrito and it was worth every penny !! She rolled out the dough for the burrito ! Not out of a package, not pre-made, authentic, made from scratch dough, rolled by hand, looked like she was making a pizza , it was so big !!! I’m going back tomorrow . I have to ….. There tacos are awesome , the lunch plates are bomb , you can’t go wrong no matter what you’re craving .

First time today and I’m looking forward to my next meal from here! They have great menu options and variety of delicious, authentic food at a fantastic price point. Consistent excellent service from the entire establishment provided to me & my group as well as every guest that came in… carryout and dine in painting.We enjoyed everything we ordered for lunch, and made sure to get food for dinner too ☺️

This was our second visit, our first experience was pleasant, so we recommended to my mother in law since we liked it. Well today was a totally different experience! This only applies to the food service ladies making tacos at the steam tables. Those lady’s need to find another jobs cause they’re not happy with their current situation. They have bad attitudes and with even worse body language. Totally ruined our appetite and made food just as bad, couldn’t finish what was ordered. From this experience we will no longer give our business. Hopefully management isn’t as negligent, cause I’m sure they lose other customers.

Firstly, I have to say that the service was amazing! It was like walking into a family. The food was excellent everything homemade and fresh. The cafe de olla is the bomb! I mean everything down to the plate and cup was authentic. It was homey and I’m so glad this place is here. I wish you continued success! I can’t wait to come back and try the other foods.

The food here is great! We got here and there was a line to order food. There aren’t too many places for large parties to sit, and for some reason people who have small parties sit at the tables for larger groups which makes it inconvenient. There is only one restroom for the whole restaurant which sucks. The food makes up for all of that. The tortillas de maíz are so good, the flour are just ok. The barbacoa is one of the best we’ve had in houston. The service from the people serving the food could use some work. Some of the workers are rude, but the people attending the tables are nice. I’d come back to give it a try.

The barbacoa was too greasy and I had an upset stomach all day. The menudo smelled dirty and my husband said it wasn’t very good. The café de la olla was good and the service was great.

Excellent place! Great Mexican food , all types carne de puerco en salsa roja. Chicarron en salsa Verde, Barbacoa is also delicious! Cafe de olla was perfect to my grandmother’s liking. Tortillas de maiz and flour are handmade. They have a red and green mild salsa, also have a green spicy one which was our favorite. Very polite and humble people who run the place. Thank you we will definitely be back!
