This was my introduction to Cuban food. As such, I tried the Sample Plate, which had rice, black beans, chicken, steak, yuca (cassava), pickled onions, and plantains. Very yummy. The wait was longer than the five minutes the cart operator told everyone, but it was worth the wait and the food cart pod has only been open for a few weeks.

Are you looking for authentic Cuban food? Well, you can find the only authentic Cuban food in Hillsboro at the Azucar Cuban Cuisine Food Cart, guaranteed! The Food, price and services are excellent. The Cuban sandwich exceeded my expectations. This is a real Caribbean gem. The owners are awesome! You have to visit! Being Puerto Rican and knowing Cuban food intimately, I can promise you that you won’t regret it.

First time visiting the new Hillsboro Food carts. This food is SO AMAZING. I will be coming back. Cannot recommend this place enough. I got the spicy shrimp plate and my friend got the garlic shrimp place. Both BOMB!
