The food was absolutely delicious! I had the Diablo Shrimp & Grits and they were probably the best I’ve ever had! My entire family loved their food. The appetizers were a big hit as well! We had the Corn Ribs and the Egg rolls..so good. The staff was amazing and two different managers stopped by our table to check on us. We will definitely go back.

We ate at Azul on their 2nd day open. My husband and I sat at the bar and had the pleasure of having Isaiah, Mike, and Heather all help us with our drink and food selections. All three were so helpful and knowledgeable. Any of their frozen cocktails are a must. The chips and salsa were phenomenal and the food was absolutely delicious!! The atmosphere was so warm and inviting. The roof top area looks amazing and we can’t wait to go back and try that out. Definitely a fantastic addition to all our great local restaurants. You won’t be disappointed!!

The shrimp and chicken tacos did not taste good. Very bland, we didn’t even bother eating the rice and beans. Queso was okay. Their alcohol drinks seemed to be weak. Great service and atmosphere. As a local, you’ll need to do better with flavor and food for the expensive prices you’re charging.

The atmosphere was really nice & pretty BUT they stuck us in this little bitty corner real close to a table of four so there wasn’t much to move around or have privacy. You could even hear the people next to you eating and if you stuck your arm out straight out to the side you would touch them without even extending your whole arm out. Smh! It felt like if you put your kid in time out in the corner!!! Also our waitress Alexandra was talking wayyyyy too much to other people and we only got one refill. The food was not good to me at all! I got the arroz con pollo and that was the weirdest & not so good thing ever! They brought it out with what looks like a bunch of strips of chips but it was the tortilla that was fried on the bottom of the chicken in a bunch of cut up & fried tortilla chips with the cheese on top and it had a burnt taste to it!!! So it’s not like a regular Mexican restaurant where you get chicken and cheese and rice all mixed together with a real flat tortilla shell!! There expensive & definitely not worth the price FOR SURE!!!!! YUCK!!! My boyfriend liked his $20 burrito & said it was seasoned good but mine was horrible for $16 to eat 2 SMALL pieces of chicken with some cheese on top & mixed my rice with not even getting full!!! Smh I would NEVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR go back there and that’s a HUGE FACT!!!!! The only good thing they had was their queso cheese and that was $9 SMDH!!!! NEGATIVE BUDDY!!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!! SORRY!!!!! LBVS! Waste of $65.00 !!!!!!!!

Went for dinner with my husband after they opened. The atmosphere was amazing, and it is very beautifully decorated. The food was great, as well at the service and there’s a roof top bar with an amazing view. It is our new go-to Mexican restaurant. If you haven’t tried it yet you definitely should.

Absolutely good! In love with all the food and cocktails, mangonada frozen it’s my favorite drink, I tried all the drinks the opening day and I’ve been coming constantly to try something different, the food delicious I love the tuna tostada with caviar, the birria, their salsas, I like all the decorations, the owner did good really good with lights and decorations, that’s my new favorite restaurant in town.I’m posting a few pictures of some items I tried myself.

Waited two years for this to open. Highly over rated. Food was OK at best. No complimentary chips & salsa as we are used to at our local Mexican restaurant. At least 20 waiters/waitresses standing around not doing anything. Nice interior decoration. Disappointed they used imported cast iron from China. When they could have source Lodge cast iron across the street that’s made in America. We frequently visit the Smokies 3-4 times a year. But won’t return to Azules.

Phenomenal experience! Exciting, FRESH food with high-quality presentation, service, and inventiveness!! You might want to skip a meal or two before visiting this amazing restaurant, you will not leave hungry. Everything was so tasty; it will be difficult to restrain yourself from wanting to try several dishes. Thankful to our server who was both helpful and knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations. My Choice? The Birria Taco/Braised Beef, it practically melted in my mouth. The bartenders knew their mixology and it showed in the drinks. Gringo In Guadalajara (An Old Fashioned made w/Bourbon & Mezcal) is probably one of the best craft cocktails that I have ever had. Oh, and did I mention the rooftop bar?? It simply “tops” off the entire experience. A great place to hang out and chill!

Tuesday night. Four adults and one child. The decor and atmosphere is amazing. We were seated pretty quickly, however, it took way too long to get our drinks along with 2 of the beers someone in our party ordered were unavailable. Server blamed the long wait for drinks on there being only one bartender. Margarita I had was yummy and came in a fun glass. That was the best thing about my experience. Salsa trio was just okay. Even the “hot” salsa wasn’t hot. Everyone in our group had the same opinion of the meal. Food is okay at best. Very bland! Disappointing for the price. Would love to see them improve the spices/seasonings on all the dishes. With the rooftop bar and fun ambiance in this place, I so want to love the food and make this a regular stop when vacationing in the area.
