Been here a handful of times over the last two years, probably once a month the last few months though as this place is growing on me more. I tried the taco de birria today which inspired this 5 star review. The shredded beef was so good, and it came out sizzling hot with the melted cheese. The chips were fresh and salsa very good as well. We sat at the bar for lunch. Good little spot in Gorham in the center of town, walkable for anyone local.

The food was OK, but not exceptional. They hand you a menu as you enter, you seat yourself, they bring chips and salsa (which were fine), you decide what to order, then go back up front where they take your order. Sit back down and in due time they deliver the food. Somewhere between counter serve and full serve restaurant. Prices were more full service prices, without the service. Soft drinks $3.50, but you snag a glass and fill from a machine. I was far from enchanted.

Love this place! It’s a very relaxed vibe in that you go up and order at the counter, where they are servicing take out orders too. But that’s no problem. Great spot for a quick bite and the food is a really good price, very delicious and generous portions. The decor is also super fun with bright colours everywhere, particularly love the chairs. The only slight critique would be that you order food from one counter and then you have to go separately to order drinks from the bar, which is lined with chairs and people eating at it, so tricky to access. It would be good if you could figure out a system to order both at the same counter.

I never really like to rate a place based on one visit and I’ve been to this restaurant a bunch of times. I think the difficulty is that it’s never the same twice and that goes for the quality of food as well as the service. There’s times were spot on, and the food is delicious and other times where it doesn’t even feel like the same restaurant the service is really slow and even if it’s not a high traffic time the food quality is really low.
