Probably the best barbecue food truck in Austin. The brisket was so tender and flavourful. Just melts right in your mouth. Service was swift. Would love to come here again during open mic comedy next door.

Fantastic BBQ with more options than I expected. I had the pulled pork, but was tempted by the lamb, spare ribs, and short ribs. Elote was good, but the star here is the meats. Pork came with jalapeno slices and onion and choice of sauce sides – spicy vinegar was great.

Great hidden BBQ spot! We had the Brisket, sausage, and spare ribs and they were all delicious! A great blackened caramel crust. We got the creamy slaw, potato salad, beans and elote. They were all really good. My only constructive criticism would be the slaw and potato salad had a little too much “sauce” and vinegar, but I’d still eat them again in a heartbeat, that’s just the small thing that would have changed that from a great meal to epic. I would definitely recommend!

This place is always consistent! I’m very impressed with the seasoning and tenderness of the meat. The lamb and brisket are a must try! Delicious potato salad, sauces, crunchy sides. You can easily find parking inside the food truck area. Eat at the tables under the shade and enjoy the peace and quiet this area has to offer.

This BBQ is the best! We used to live near the food truck and loved it so much that we had him cater our backyard wedding. We ordered some of our favorites- brisket, sausage, beans, spicy slaw, and corn salad (his special events take on the elote we love so much at the truck). Everything was just fantastic! I can’t tell you how many people raved about the food, and many of these people are Texans, so they know. A friend of ours said, “I think this is the best BBQ I’ve ever had, and I’m from Lockhart.” So yeah, you need to try B.Cooper 🙂 Thank you, Blaine!

Everything about my experience grabbing some brisket and beef sausage on a cold Austin night was incredible. I didn’t realize it was a food truck because I navigated off Google maps while driving. When I got there I was a little confused but after parking I was greeted with absolutely wonderful mouth watering BBQ. Still delicious when I got back to the hotel.

If I were to write a locals’ guide to Austin and came to make a recommendation on authentic central Texas barbecue, B Cooper would likely be my selection.

I dig the esthetics of this setup. Little food truck spot tucked away in a small lot off 7th street. I tried the lamb, didn’t love it, but I also don’t care for lamb, so as expected. The pulled pork was good and the sausage was good, although the sausage was a little bland for my taste and could use a kick. Beans were solid. Slaw was okay.

Great find in east Austin, 25 minute walk from central part of 6th street or 5 minutes in an Uber and worth the trip.
