First time at this place. Noticed a lot of customers pickups in parking lot. Got my usual breakfast grits eggs and bacon $7.95 total. No problems with cleanliness the help was very efficient. Might add looking like a lot of older folks were enjoying themselves. Heard one called by name as he came in the door.

On our way home to Atlanta after visiting St. Simons Island, this was our first visit to B&F diner and it was FANTASTIC! The chicken livers are delicious!!! The creamed corn and chicken and rice sides are scrumptious. The service was nothing less than excellent. The very friendly and considerate staff made our lunch an extremely pleasant experience. If you’ve not had a chance to eat at B&F diner, I highly recommend you visit them. In my opinion, you will not regret it. If I could, I would give it more than 5 stars.

Great down home eating establishment. Great service, Good people. Price is good also. Only negative is that they treat fries like they are gold. It is OK you know to put a lot of fries on a plate every now qnd then (happened more than 3X).

First, I have to say that it was extremely busy for a Monday night and I believe there was a large party and possibly only 2 servers working. I’ll give credit to that and the fact that our server stayed extremely busy. However, the reason I’m only giving 1 star for service is that 1) I requested a small tossed salad for 1 of the 2 sides and our server told me that it would be a while before I could get the salad, so I had to settle for a different side. Then, after we ordered, I saw her bring out several tossed salads to customers who came in after us. That was a HUGE negative to me. Then, 2) Two customers who came in at least 15-20 minutes after we did, received their food before we did. It appeared as though some customers may have been “regulars” and I guess since we were from out of town, I felt like we were “pushed to the back burner” on service. What they did not know however, is this is my hometown and USED to be one of my favorite places to eat. Finally, 3) the server never stopped at our table to check on us after we finally received our food, even though she passed by us numerous times. My husband needed a refill on his tea (empty glass), but I had to go up front to request teas to go. On a positive note, food was okay; nothing to brag about, but bad service tends to put a “bad taste in your mouth”. Very disappointed.
