The food used to be so good, but has fell off a bit since COVID. They serve mainly breakfast items but do offer other items and are open for lunch. The mornings are very busy. There is NO where to sit while you wait for ur food which can be an inconvenience if you do not have a car to waiting on the colder days. The cook an older woman ( whom I think is the Mother of one of them) are not the friendliest, however the woman who answers the phone can be quite nice. Make sure you check your food before you leave because that time it has been overcooked a tad and is a little pricy

2 stars mainly because they’ve really went downhill with whom they employ and the way the employees act reflect onto the business and that’s a turn off for me. Especially when they act like they could careless about customers and how they act in-front of them We used to like this spot for breakfast but now you can’t ever get through on the phone and they are always closed. I just called today 7/14/22 and it rang until the voicemail picked up and whoever left the message sounded so unprofessional and ghetto it was sad. The message said we’re closed from 7/4 – 7/17 and will we reopen on Monday 7/18, We need a break. Which I understand but the way the message was left and the tone/mannerisms was crazy.

Nice little place in the middle of Wilkens Ave with some great food, just call for the daily specials! Just tried their sloppy joe’s, which you never see on any menu’s, and they’re excellent! Really looking forward to trying their Beef Noodle Soup, and French toast platter, next week…

In LOVE with this place! Food is on point and owners have been here 40 years. Had chipped beef (perfection!), turkey sausage, cheesy scrambled eggs, and grits. Everything was cooked with precision–best breakfast I’ve had in years! Loved the atmosphere and familial neighborhood vibe. Savored every bite and felt right at home.

Good food, excellent beer selection. The strawberry benet was superb and the family member always order the cookie in a pan dessert (name escapes me) or monkey bread. The place is always loud, but probably because everyone is having a good time. Enjoyed the atmosphere, variety of menu items, and fine service. Celebrated birthday event with 8 people.

Great breakfast place. I had the scrapple platter. I asked for the eggs to be scrambled light with cheese, done to perfection!! Scrapple and home fries cooked perfectly as well. Large portions. I had enough to share. Highly recommended!
