Cool building old and falling apart cool family that owns it, Robert’s is a dying town so not a lot of options but I’d come again, the alligators were a nice touch except it smelled a little like pee in the dining room.

Very good restaurant with delicious food. We ordered steak with salad and Idaho baked potatos. The food was excelent. Owners were very nice. They are very nice people. We used also from the room during our travel. Very clean and comfortable. For me and my wife It was a perfect place.

4 Stars for quality of food and presentation, cleanliness, speed of service and friendliness. Overall experience could have been improved somewhat by the atmosphere… it seemed a little dark and hole-in-the-wallish. Otherwise, great service and DELICIOUS Cajun food! Loved the gumbo and the etufée! Definitely reminded me of Louisiana/East Texas cuisine, a very pleasant surprise in small-town Idaho!

My wife took me here for my birthday and I absolutely loved it! I served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Lousiana and I really missed this kind of food. We will definitely go again! Totally recommend to those who are interested in trying Cajun food.

Dirty, smelly, rundown restaurant. The alligator enclosure looked and smelled like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. Wait staff was extremely slow. The food was below average. Definitely would not recommend.

I really enjoyed the restaurant, we also stayed at the Airbnb that the proprietors run. Pictures are of their Airbnb hotel space. I would gently suggest to the hosts that the ambiance of their restaurant is more harmed than helped by the presence of the Confederate flag. Decor as a whole is dead on.You would know you were in a Cajun themed restaurant quite easily without risking hurt feelings. That said, we found the hosts to be very charming and unlikely to have unkindness in their hearts for anyone in the world, controversial flag or not.
