What an amazing find! I’m so glad we finally tried the Chinese Sauerkraut Fish! I’ll highly recommend their classic soup for 2 with appetizers as cucumber or fungus and the wild starch noodles for sure – I loved the sauce they used. The chilli oil was phenomenal, I tasted either sesame oil or peanut oil and couldn’t get enough of it. I’ll recommend all fish with the add ons like bean curd, enoki mushrooms and lotus root. The soup was so flavorful, the picked cabbage was a mouthful of flavor paired with the sour and spicy taste, can’t wait to go back. Also the dessert – bingfen was so incredibly good – don’t skip it. They have so many more things to try. The interior was well kept and looked pretty upscale. The host was super nice and generous and the service was good and fast. The place is a little small and sign up for their 5% cash back through chownow. Can’t recommend it enough.

Really good sour fish spot. I’d recommend going full fish instead of meat and fish combo. The soup was extra sour and plenty for a group of 4 of us. I really like jalapeños with century old eggs. I also liked the vegetables in the soup.

This is the first time try B2J, it was so good! I am not a big fan of fish, but the tenderness and freshness really get me. The Chinese jello with brown sugar brought me back to my childhood, and the fried milk custard was a bomb! Will be there again and again!!

Love this place! The minute you walk in you can smell the fragrance of all the delicious food cooking. It’s kinda a hole in the wall, very limited seating. Went with 3 friends, we ordered the fish hot pot for three. There was plenty to eat and we got to take the rest home. Soup is served with “donuts” which are these savory, light and flaky golden yeast rolls. You have a choice of extras to add to the soup and appetizers. Can’t wait to go back!

This place was very clean. I’ve ate here twice and have tried the Spicy Sour soup base with mushroom, black fungus, tofu, and A-Chou add-ons. The portion is great for two people. I absolutely loved the fish and the fried donuts. They really bring back taste from my childhood. The service was also very fast and courteous.

This place is ok. The biggest problem is I feel I like they are using too much MSG in the dishes. You will drink lots of water and feel sleepy afterwards… The price is not too high or either too low. We order the combos for two, which is $38.99. The fish they are using is Tilapia fish. I thought they will use a better kind of fish since the combo price is not cheap. But still. The taste of the fish is ok. The beef has weird tastes. I don’t know what’s the outer of the beef, similar to starch? We don’t like the taste of the beef at all.
